Ah Chu’s name is Yin Chu Chu.  Her beautiful name is made by her mother who is a fan of Chiong Yao’s novels.  Perhaps, this is to represent her “hope” that her daughter will become a gentle and beautiful person.  Under her parents’ protection, Ah Chu learns ballet and piano.  With her almond-shaped eyes, exquisite features, anyone would have “inappropriate” hopes and expectations.  However, ever since Ah Chu becomes infatuated with Jet Li, she also becomes obsessed with martial arts – from Ling Hu Chong to Wong Fei Hung – she learns all their moves.  All the pets in the house would fall under her prey and her parents gradually wakes up from their “dream”…  Perhaps it really is “all in the blood.”  Ah Chu and her grandfather, Yin Tian Zheng, both carry the cells for martial arts and both have a chivalrous personality.  This grandfather, whom Ah Chu has never seen before she was 10 years old and whom her parents never talk about, has used DNA to prove that they are related to each other.

            One night, Ah Chu’s parents suddenly received the news about a fire at their factory.  They did not wake up Ah Chu who is sleeping and hurriedly rushes over to the factory to help with putting the fire out.  Unfortunately, this would be the last time that Ah Chu and her parents would be together.  One big fire takes away Ah Chu’s parents who loved her deeply, takes away the wonderful life she had, and the childhood that all her neighbors are jealous and envious of.  This tragedy also causes her to become a firm and strong girl.  One who will fight against heaven and fight against fate without ever bowing down.

            This day also changes Ping Zhi’s destiny.  At the moment when Ah Chu is bearing the painful lost of her parents, Ping Zhi is awakened in the middle of the night by his mother’s crying sounds.  It turns out that the neighbors have come to tell them the sad news of his father’s death at sea…  Ping Zhi, who originally had a very moderate personality, sees his once strong mother choking on her tears.  He is heartbroken for her and his restlessness turns into a strength that he wants to protect his mother with!  That year, Ah Chu is 7 years old and Ping Zhi is 9 years old.

            Being her only family member left in this world, Grandpa, Yin Tian Zheng, brings Ah Chu to Taipei.  Ah Chu doesn’t know anything about the resentment between her grandpa and her father.  Faced with an unfamiliar relative and new environment, Ah Chu starts her new life.  Grandpa has a small convenient shop called “Like to Buy Don’t Buy.”  For more than 10 years, the sign haven’t changed, and he hasn’t joined any franchises.  He only runs the shop as he likes it.  Ah Chu thinks that it is not right for her Grandpa to criticize her father who has passed away.  However, Grandpa is also aware of how Ah Chu misses her father and still insists on stubbornly holding back her tears.  Later, Ah Chu gets her wish and passes the exam to be admitted into a Chinese Course.  However, she gets injured while she was trying to teach the bully a lesson for picking on the other students which caused her to drop out of school.  After that she just works full-time at her Grandpa’s “Like to Buy Don’t Buy” store.

            After arriving in Taipei to live, Ling Ping Zhi just wants to concentrate on his studies and after graduating, he can return to his hometown to be a gym teacher and take care of his mother.  However, the living expenses of Taipei are very high and Ping Zhi couldn’t handle it.  Under a fateful opportunity, he is discovered and starred in an advertisement.  Because he did an outstanding job, Tian Yi Modeling Agency signed a contract with him.  After moving into a dormitory nearby the school, Ping Zhi gets acquainted with Yin Tian Zheng and his granddaughter, Ah Chu, who looks after the shop.  Ping Zhi, who is kindhearted, has a very good impression of Ah Chu after seeing her heroic attitude for a couple of times.  As for Ah Chu, after a couple of times of interacting with Ping Zhi, she admires him for his honesty, loyalty and compassion.  Henceforth, “Like to Buy Don’t Buy” becomes a place where Ping Zhi would go to whenever he feels alone or depressed and Ah Chu starts to get more and more used to having Ping Zhi around at “Like to Buy Don’t Buy” to accompany her.  Even Ping Zhi and Ah Chu’s good friends, Gui Wa and Tiao Tou would like to hang out at the shop.

            Later, under an unexpected coincidence, Ping Zhi becomes a hero of the media and his roles in idol dramas are getting more and more important.  This brings about Qin Lang’s jealousy, an actor who is also in the same drama.  He intensifies his plans to frame Ping Zhi and cause Ping Zhi’s acting career to fall into a crisis…  Also in the same drama, the sweet princess, Wang Zhi Er, admires Ping Zhi and gradually falls in love with him…  This causes Ah Chu and Ping Zhi’s relationship to be faced with a test…

            Ling Ping Zhi is faced with an acting career crisis and a decision to make in love.  He is always aware that there are obstacles that one must pass through in life but no matter what, the development of these things is not something that he is able to control.  Would Ah Chu and Ping Zhi’s love story end as perfect as Guo Jing and Huang Rong’s?  This will all depend on heroic Ah Chu’s decision!
