Each city has its own story. Some are bright and lively while some are dark and gloomy, just like this place. With the 13^th Street as their boundaries, this is where “Dong Shang” and “Lan De” these two neighboring schools are located. For a long time, the barriers set up by these two schools are clearly marked. There are constant disputes and all their disputes are settled at the basketball court between these two schools. This court is known by everyone as “the 13^th Street Basketball Court!” One early morning, the wind is calm and the weather is nice. At a temple with incense burning flourishingly, a girl dressed in white suddenly appears leading a group of strong men dressed in black. Just one look and everyone can tell that they belong to the mafia. This frightens the people at the temple and they quickly rush to stay far away. They watch as this girl dressed in white leads the group of men dressed in black to pay her respects and pray for a good fortune. As the fortune was a good one, the whole group immediately starts cheering loudly and shouts, “Long lives Dong Shang School! Dong Shang 10 year champion! Dong Shang, go! Go! Go!” It turns out that this girl dressed in white, who is leading this group of guys, is called Yi Sheng Xue. Although she knows nothing about street basketball, but she is a super fan of Dong Shang’s Trio. She is also the landlord of the 13^th Street District, Yin Quan Wu, who everyone calls “Wu Ye’s” only daughter. At her side is her childhood friend, Jin Zi Cong, who regards protecting Sheng Xue as his life-long mission and who is also an orphan adopted by Wu Ye. Dong Shang Trio is a three man group, voted by the students of Dong Shang School. Their main purpose is to solve any problems within Dong Shang School and they have always been well respected by all the students. Lan De and Dong Shang have been carrying out this 3 against 3 street basketball competition every year and the winner of the competition gets the right to use the 13^th Street Basketball Court. For nine consecutive years, Dong Shang’s Trio has been representing Dong Shang in fighting for this sacred place which is classified as a place of freedom for the students. Being that today is the tenth year of competition between Lan De and Dong Sheng, Yi Sheng Xue specially made an early trip to the temple to pray. She asks God to bless Dong Shang in winning their tenth championship. Now that she has gotten a good fortune, she happily returns home and waits to watch this annual street basketball competition.

Meanwhile, Shen Ruo He just finished helping his father, Shen Guo Chen, to close a business deal. Driving his sports car, he is heading toward the direction of the 13^th Street Basketball Court. While turning at a certain street corner, he almost knocks down Sheng Xue, who is running along with her group of men dressed in black. Ruo He stops within 10 centimeters of Sheng Xue and they both stare at each other. Seeing how Sheng Xue almost got run down by the car, Zi Cong immediately gets the rest of the guys to surround the car, forcing Ruo He to get out. In the end, it was Sheng Xue who stopped Zi Cong, allowing Ruo He to drive off. Zi Cong doesn’t understand why Sheng Xue let Ruo He go. It turns out that Sheng Xue recognizes this extremely rude guy as Shen Ruo He, the leader of Trio who is representing Dong Shang in the street basketball competition at the 13^th Street Basketball Court! However, one of her followers, Ah Jia didn’t listen to orders and decided to teach Ruo He a lesson and so he slashed the tires of Ruo He’s car. Sheng Xue is furious and warns Ah Jia that if Dong Shang doesn’t win for the 10^th consecutive year, then he is going to pay for it. Hearing this, another one of her followers, Run Yi, didn’t dare to tell Sheng Xue that he also slashed Ruo He’s bag.

The other two members of Trio, Xu Zhe Kai and Zhou Bi Shou are waiting at the court. They are wondering why Ruo He, who has always been very punctual, hasn’t shown up yet. At this moment, Ruo He is currently facing a flat tire problem. Worried about the competition, he has no choice but to pick up his bag and run towards the 13^th Street Basketball Court. Ruo He didn’t notice that the shoes he needed for the competition fell out of the hole of his bag which has early been slashed. The competition is about to start. Sheng Xue asks Zi Cong to set up a television in the backyard so that they can watch the game and cheer for Dong Shang at the same time. They were making so much noise that Yi Quan Wu, who is in the midst of meditating to seek peace, rushes out and forbids Sheng Xue from making any more noise! Everyone immediately quiets down, not making any noise, at Wu Ye’s orders and they didn’t even dare to breathe loudly.

Sheng Xue’s father has always hoped that his daughter would become a dignified young lady but to one’s surprise, his daughter is the exact opposite and is a barbarous and rowdy girl instead. Just when Sheng Xue is getting a scolding from her father, her stepmother, Jie Mei comes over carrying two tubs of popcorn. The moment that she sees her husband, she doesn’t care if he is happy or angry and just happily exclaims, “Xiao Wu Wu, are you watching the basketball game with us? But just when he is about to shoot the most crucial ball into the basket, he is struck by his opponent, Roma’s elbow and Ruo He falls to the ground. In a standard basketball match, this sneak attack would normally be called a foul but within a street basketball match, there are no such rules. Ruo He caused Dong Shang to lose the match! Lost the glory of winning Lan De for nine consecutive years in a row as well as this scared place, the 13^th Street…

In front of the television, Sheng Xue, who had fervently hoped that Dong Shang would be able to get the rights to the 13^th Street Basketball Court for the 10^th time, could not believe that Shen Ruo He, being the leader of Trio, could have made such a stupid mistake!
