He is extremely confident when it comes to his work. Silent and reserved, reasonable and rational. Easily gets into conflicts with the other members of the team and when everyone else is excusing Miao Zi Shou for his mistakes, Han Sheng would be the one to straighten him out and causes Miao Zi Shou to realize his wrongdoings. Since their school days, Han Sheng and Ah Shou has been maintaining a relationship that is like friends and like enemies. Their competitive relationship is also the motivation that spurs on each other’s improvement. On the surface, he seems to be a very cold, ruthless person and it seems like that he would do everything in his power in order to reach his goal. Yet, the truth is that he actually grew up in a family environment that has no warmth and love and he also has a younger brother, Tang Yun Sheng, who is a thug. Until the appearance of Zheng Yun, love gradually changes the attitude that Han Sheng has towards life.

Is a good friend of Ah Shou’s in the team. His appearance looks rough but he is very willing to lend out a helping hand to those that need it. He is frank and straight-forward, doesn’t care about the little things in life, looks highly on friendship and loyalty. He will do everything he can in his power for his friends. On the surface, he seems to be a very careless guy, but when he becomes a teaching assistant, he was very diligently; totally becoming another person. Song Shui Lai’s place in the team is well-liked just as the same as his name. [Note: The sound of the characters of his name is similarly to the phrase, “send the water along”.] Each time that they run into problems while attending to a duty call, he would pray continuously until they return to the team. And when Han Sheng and Ah Shou gets into a conflict, he would always be able to jokingly ease away the awkward atmosphere.

Is the news anchor of a television station. Outgoing and naïve, frank, doesn’t have bad thoughts for others, and doesn’t have any opinions. Has a strong characteristic of depending on others. Sometimes because she is overly picky, she would give her boyfriend a very hard time. It is also because of this that she lost her previous boyfriend. She longs for love and doesn’t have any ambition towards work. Along with her better understanding of Miao Zi Shou, she starts to pay attention to the meaning of her work to her own life.

Ah Shou’s classmate in the veterinarian department yet broke up with him because she can’t endure his firefighting work. On the surface, she is mature and independent, exactly the typical form of modern women. She is totally serious when it comes to matters of love. During an accident, she unexpectedly meets with firefighter, Tang Han Sheng, and they both started a relationship filled with hardship.

Miao Zi Shou, Tang Han Sheng, Song Shui Lai’s most respected team leader. He loves his firefighting work very much and has successfully battled a couple of fires with this group of guys that he leads. As for the private matters of these guys, he would also be concerned of it.

Jia Jia’s good friend and roommate and co-worker. A very lively personality and lives just like a tomboy. Has a razor sharp tongue but a soft heart. She would always not admit that she and Song Shui Lai has some sort of relationship. Yet it is her good-heart and down-to-earth personality that attracts Shui Lai. She loves to exchange a whole stack of coins and go to game store to play games and win dolls.

Miao Zi Shou’s father. At one time, he used to be the leader of a firefighter team. After a fire that took away the life of his beloved wife, he left firefighting and raised his son, Ah Shou, all by himself. From then on, he has not spoken about his firefighting work at all. Yet during a fire incident one time, step by step he returns to the battlefield that he is so familiar with.

Tang Han Sheng’s younger brother. Due to the fact that he was doing bad things, he was sent to the juvenile jail. After he came out of jail, he brought along with him lots of difficulties for his brother. Actually, his nature is not bad, but a dark and unhappy childhood led way to his twisted personality.
