            Growing up in the mountainside, Fu An’s parents passed away early, leaving her, Pi Dan and her grandmother, Huang Chun Xiang to take care of each other.  They live a poor but happy life together.  Although they live in an old wooden house which the wind can seep in when it’s cold and which leaks when it rains, they are known to be content with their life and find joy in their hard lives.  She truly believes that as long as she works hard, she will be able to save enough money to repair their shabby house so that her family can lead a more comfortable life.  Since she was young, her grandma Chun Xiang has passed on her knowledge of herbs to Fu An.  Every day, she will go up to the mountains to pick herbs and then sell them at the market and at the hospital.  This becomes their family’s main source of income. – GTV

            He is Yan Da Feng’s younger cousin and is also the owner of a wedding service boutique.  He is smart and bright with no ambitions, deeply believing in the philosophy of being the harmless number two man.

            Although he is a son of Ba Bao Tang but he is also the furthest away from the core of all the power and conflict.  He has a tendency to be somewhat gay and likes girly things since he was young.  He chooses to leave his family’s business and work in an industry that is totally unrelated to home.  He opens a wedding service boutique and therefore is the least interested person when it comes to fighting over for Ba Bao’s fortunes.  He is happy to stand in the sidelines and watch the fight between Da Feng and his parents.

            In the Yan family environment which is full of planning and fighting for wealth and power, the only place of warmth is where Yan Yang is.  He is a happy character with the Yan family.  In Yan Yang’s eyes, Da Feng is the most suited person to inherit the family’s business and the relationship between the two of them is not affected by his parents.  Sometimes, he would even propose some lousy ideas to Da Feng.  Although it is well-intended but it would often cause Da Feng many problems.  However, there are times when he would be able to pinpoint the contradictory struggles that are within Da Feng.

            His real name is “Xie Fu Jiu” which means having good fortune for a long time.  Because of his naughty personality and always stirring up trouble, everyone calls him “Pi Dan!”  Lively and energetic, he’s a curly hair child that is filled with curiosity.  Aside from grandma, Chun Xiang, his sister Fu An is the other person who he depends on the most and so, no one can bully his sister!  Whoever bullies his sister, he will run over to give them a kick in the leg and then hide behind his sister.  His best friend is a dog “Da Hei” whom he regards as his younger brother. – GTV

            Pi Dan’s younger brother.  He is a handsome, healthy male dog.  He is a very loyal dog hero that protects Fu An and Pi Dan.  When he was 1 years old, Chun Xiang saved him from under the knife of a chef.  From then on, he becomes a part of the Xie family and Pi Dan’s younger brother. – GTV

            Pi Dan’s younger brother.  He is a handsome, healthy male dog.  He is a very loyal dog hero that protects Fu An and Pi Dan.  When he was 1 years old, Chun Xiang saved him from under the knife of a chef.  From then on, he becomes a part of the Xie family and Pi Dan’s younger brother.  After he follows Fu An to the Yan residence, he also gets bribed by Da Feng.  He is dressed in nice clothes everyday and his doggie bowl is name brand tableware.  His food changes from bones to steak or high quality dog food.  Every week, he is treated to a “dog spa.”  He even has his own personal “dog servant.”  Very quickly, he loses his original mighty and imposing doggie form.  Just like the brainwashed Pi Dan, he refuses to leave the Yan family no matter what.
