(portrayed by Alex Du) – Male, 38 years old.  With his own hands, he create “Quan Jing Ji”, a management agency that none can compare to in the entertainment industry.  He is a powerful figure within the entertainment circle.

            “Quan Jing Ji” is his life; work is his belief; power is his principle; an artist is his property and tool.  As a result, Xing Tian only has partners and does not have any friends.  If someone is not his opponent then that person is his enemy – “a bloodsucking devil!”  That is the nickname that the public has given him.

            But this is only his appearance.  The real Xing Tian is sentimental and honorable.  For the person that he loves, he would even sacrifice himself and doing everything in his power to protect her.  His tenderness, consideration and understanding would only be revealed when he truly meets the person that he loves.  He never pays any attention to the misunderstanding that the public has of him and he never provided any explanations.  Because he knows that in order to survive in the intense fighting entertainment circle, his calmness, ruthlessness and coolness is his biggest weapon in protecting the world that he loves.

            For many years, Xing Tian has silently looked after his benefactor’s daughter, Zhu Ke Xin.  Yet when Xing Tian could no longer stand the way that Ke Xin is squandering away her family’s fortune, he decides to discipline her into becoming independent.  At this time a huge crisis erupts with one of his artists, the heavenly king Young, who accidentally gets into some dispute with a mafia boss, Gao Lao Ban, is being forced to leave the entertainment circle.

            Being familiar with these life and death situations and the reality of these fights, Xing Tian refuses to back down.  However, Tiao Tiao’s appearance completely disrupts his whole plan.  A naďve 20 year old student, who is always dreaming about becoming a director, shouldn’t have any interactions with Xing Tian’s life.  Yet unable to stop the fate of this encounter, these two people repeatedly get tangled up together.  From admiration to unknowingly liking, when Xing Tian suddenly awakens, he finds out that Tiao Tiao has broken through to his cold and unmoving pretense with her innocence, enthusiasm and braveness.  She has awakened his sincere and emotional side which Xing Tian has long forgotten.

            For Tiao Tiao, Xing Tian hides his own true identity.  He would rather be the “chauffeur uncle” that Tiao Tiao calls him so that he could protect this real love, the heavenly king Young whom he promoted, the heavenly queen Qiao An Na and “Quan Jing Ji.”  All of these become a big gambling stake for the sake of this innocent and true love.  It also causes Xing Tian to fall into the biggest crisis of his life…

(portrayed by Lara Liang Xin Yi) – Female, 20 years old.  At the present she is a senior at a university studying theatre and arts.  Enthusiastic, eager, filled with goals and ideals.  She is very clear that she wants to be a director.  Aside from being a director, she doesn’t care about anything else.  The phrase that she uses a lot is “in the world of 16:9, there are millions of possibilities in a second and that includes miracles.”

            In order to gather information on hoodlums, she gets acquainted with Jia Bao, who has an identity of being a guy from Hong Kong’s Temple Street, from the internet.  Yet because she is busy with her school work and job, in reality, it is her younger brother that is developing an “internet relationship” with Jia Bao.  As a result, she has no idea that her younger brother has cheated money out of Jia Bao and that Jia Bao is on his way to Taiwan to settle this matter.  Therefore, they both started off with a misunderstanding but then later mutually started appreciating each other.  All along, she has thought that Jiao Bao has posted Young’s picture on the internet and it has never occurred to her that Jiao Bao really looks exactly like Young.  Tiao Tiao, who has never had a boyfriend, suddenly gets entangled with a handsome guy.  Although she is occasionally filled with arrogant feelings but for Tiao Tiao who has a tomboy personality, she still treats Jia Bao as one of her buddies.  They would constantly call each other “man”, bicker around and hit each other on the shoulder or back.  Even if the whole world can see that Jia Bao likes Tiao Tiao, but only Tiao Tiao would still foolishly say that it is impossible.  Without holding anything back, she would even tell Jiao Bao about this marvelous feeling that she has toward the chauffeur, Xing Tian.

            As for her relationship with Xing Tian, Tiao Tiao jumps to the conclusion in the beginning and takes Xing Tian as being “Xing Tian’s chauffeur.”  Unknown of his real identity, she even calls Xing Tian “bloodsucking devil Xing Tian” in front of him and scolds him for being despicable and shameless.  Yet after Xing Tian unconsciously falls in love with Tiao Tiao, he turns around and deliberately hides his real identity from her.  Because he doesn’t know how to tell Tiao Tiao that the “good chauffeur” in her heart and the “despicable bloodsucker Xing Tian” are the same person…

            Tiao Tiao’s stubbornness and enthusiasm toward making movies, touches the coldhearted Xing Tian.  Xing Tian makes fun of Tiao Tiao for never having been in love before and not knowing the hardships of life which leads to her not being able to be a successful director.  In order to prove herself, she gets into a relationship with Xing Tian.  Yet it never occurs to her that the one who gets hurt in the end would be herself…  As for Jia Bao, who likes Tiao Tiao, and Qiao An Na, who likes Xing Tian, these two people will become the biggest obstacle between Tiao Tiao and Xing Tian’s love.

(portrayed by Ambrose Hsu) – Male, 25 years old.  He appears to be uncaring of everything around him and doesn’t take anything to heart.  There is nothing impossible in the world, is not afraid of power and is very loyal.  “Will take on all the bitter things and will shoulder all the difficult things.”  Within his forever optimistic and sunny smile, he has a considerate, sentimental and kind heart.

            Jia Bao is born in Hong Kong’s Temple Street and was adopted and raised by the landlady, Aunt Feng.  He makes a living by collecting protection money.  Even though he is not lenient when it comes to fighting and causing trouble yet he has never raised his hands to a woman before.  This is what Aunt Feng has said before, “Men are born to protect women.”  As a result, when he sees a man bullying a woman, he would stand up to help without any hesitation.  Therefore, he is very popular with the female and has the nickname “Temple Street Sweetheart.”

            He meets Tiao Tiao through the internet.  In order to help Tiao Tiao accomplish her dream of becoming a director, he borrows money to help her (actually it is a scheme created by Tiao Tiao’s younger brother, Meng Yu).  However, once Meng Yu receives the money, he disappears.  This causes Jiao Bao to be pursued by the loan sharks from the company that Gao Lao Ban invested in.  Furious, he comes all the way to Taiwan from Hong Kong to look for Tiao Tiao. 

            However, he gets injured and is admitted to the hospital and accidentally gets tangled up in a case.  In order to hide from the police’s chase, Jia Bao couldn’t help but accept Xing Tian’s proposal being that he looks exactly like Young.  Jia Bao hides his true identity and starts his new life disguising himself as a big celebrity.

            Although his secret agreement with Xing Tian causes Jia Bao to hide the fact that he is pretending to be Young from Tiao Tiao, but Jia Bao has not given up on his pursuit of Tiao Tiao because of this.  Whether it is shuttling back and forth between his double identity as “Young” and “Jia Bao,” becoming extremely weary, or confronting with the authoritative tyrant Xing Tian for spending time with Tiao Tiao, Jiao Bao is gladly willing to take on all these hardships.  He insists on holding his view and faces everything optimistically. 

            Finally, Xing Tian gives in and Tiao Tiao is moved by all that Jia Bao has done.  Finally, Jia Bao is together with Tiao Tiao.

            However, Tiao Tiao’s devoted feelings for Xing Tian causes Jia Bao lots of pain.  Ke Xin’s feelings for Jia Bao also cause him to be placed in a difficult situation.  His chaotic future, love, and friendship all gets intertwined…  What course should Jia Bao follow? 

(portrayed by Adriene Lin Meng Jin) – Female, 30 years old.  An image on the big screen, beautiful, gets along well in social situations, gentle and lovable, and has a high EQ.  She is always friendly toward her fans and the media, which earns her the title “sweet darling.”  The off screen Qiao An Na is smart, energetic, a perfectionist and sometimes she would get hysterical from her nervousness which people around her would be unable to stand. 

            When she was a child, she grew up from a happy and joyful family.  Her father likes performing and singing and was a member of an orchestra.  However, her father dies young, her mom remarries and because of this her life goes from heaven to hell.  Her step-father is always running after her and hitting her.  This forces Qiao An Na to run away from home and accidentally gets acquainted with Xing Tian.  From then on, not only did Xing Tian become her lifesaver, but he also becomes the one person whom she is willing to place all her happiness on.

            She follows Xing Tian and under Xing Tian’s promotion, she smoothly becomes a celebrity that every household knows.  Although she has many admirers but Qiao An Na still doesn’t pay them any attention.  As before, she still has Xing Tian in her heart only.

            She clearly understands that without Xing Tian she would not be who she is today and understands the increase in her dependency on Xing Tian as each day goes by.  Actually like a flower than needs water, its life will not end.  If she loses Xing Tian then she will not be able to live.  Just like that time when she disregarded her own life and took a knife wound meant for Xing Tian.  A serious scar is left on her back and this scar is evidence of Qiao An Na’s love for Xing Tian.  Even after she has become a celebrity, she would rather not wear open back dresses than go and have cosmetic surgery done to remove the scar.  All because this love mark is the deepest connection between her and Xing Tian.

            What Qiao An Na wishes for is not to become a successful and famous celebrity.  What she wants is a peaceful and happy family life.  As a result, even though Xing Tian only regards her as a sister, it doesn’t matter with An Na.  As long as there are no other woman in Xing Tian’s life, An Na would not care what kind of feelings Xing Tian has for her.  She only enjoys the concern and care that he shows for her.        

            Until Tiao Tiao’s appearance, An Na sees a glow within Xing Tian’s eyes.  She starts to fear losing Xing Tian and because of this, she wants to hold onto him.  She gets emotional and starts to depend on Xing Tian for every little thing.

            In order to keep Xing Tian, she could cry and beg Tiao Tiao to stop seeing Xing Tian.  She even tells Tiao Tiao that she is willing to give Tiao Tiao all her money.  Her only request is for Tiao Tiao to give Xing Tian back to her.  As a result, she becomes the biggest pressure between Xing Tian and Tiao Tiao’s relationship.

            An Na is wrapped up in her own emotions and drowns her sorrows in alcohol which is all recorded down by the paparazzi.  As a result, her fresh and lovable image that she has spent years building is seriously damaged.  It leads to the biggest crisis for her acting career.  This forces Xing Tian to get engaged to An Na for the sake of her career and strive to smooth out the damage done… 

(portrayed by Ambrose Hsu) – Male, 27 years old.  Filled with the glamour of a celebrity, outstanding acting skills, melancholic eyes that deeply captures his fans, he becomes a top celebrity in this new generation!

            Filled with the glamour of a celebrity and has a great presence on the stage.  When he is off stage, he couldn’t stand being in the spotlight and his busy traveling schedule.  He deeply wishes to live an ordinary life.  On top of this, he gets involved with a mafia boss’s woman and gets threatened by the gang.  As a result, he begs Xing Tian to let him permanently leave the entertainment circle… 

(portrayed by Gini Zhuo Wen Xuan) – Female, 20 years old.  Tiao Tiao’s classmate.  Is also Xing Tian’s benefactor – Zhu Zheng Feng’s only daughter.  When Ke Xin was born, Zhu Zheng Feng has turned from an ambitious prosecutor to becoming a successful and well respected entrepreneur.  As a result, Ke Xin has been spoiled by an extravagant lifestyle since she was young which leads to her reckless and stubborn temper.

            Until the day when her parents passed away in an accident, Ke Xin was devastated.  Left alone in this world with no one to depend on but still having a strong personality, she doesn’t want other people to see her helplessness and worry.  As a result, she starts to use the huge fortune that she inherited, to build her glamorous and strong fortress.  She buys a lot of name brand things and after buying it, she would toss it aside and forget about it.  Sometimes, she would even give it to someone else just so that she can gain their acceptance and be able to please them.  This also brought about her habit of using money to solve all sorts of problems.

            Ke Xin, who acts as if she is better than everyone else, is actually lacking in self-confidence and a goal in life.  She doesn’t have any true friends around her, until she meets Xing Tian.  In order to keep his promise to his benefactor, Xing Tian has kept an eye on Ke Xin’s lifestyle for many years.  When he sees how dangerously close Ke Xin is in squandering away her family’s fortune, still doesn’t change her attitude, and keeps on avoiding the problems, in order to get Ke Xin to stand up and depend on her own strength, Xing Tian uses his entrepreneur attitude of only caring about profits to buy the mansion that Ke Xin has mortgaged to the bank.  He also forces Ke Xin to go to “Quan Jing Ji” to work and become Jia Bao’s assistant. 

            Having never had to worry about money and under Xing Tian’s deliberate and strict demand, Ke Xin is faced with the many challenges of work and life.  From “not having a pleasing relationship” to “sharing each other’s joys and sorrows”, Ke Xin and Jia Bao come to an understanding with each other.  She gets her heart broken because of Jia Bao and discovers that unknowing to her, her concern and feelings for Jia Bao has surpassed that of a friend or a co-worker…

            Seeing how Jia Bao is suffering for Tiao Tiao, aside from being hurt, Ke Xin also feels anger towards Tiao Tiao.  Their friendship is faced with a huge challenge because of Jia Bao.  As a result, when she learns from Tai Si that Xing Tian was using her memory of her parents to deliberately buy their mansion and use this to tie her down and set up a plan to frame Jia Bao… at this moment, the hatred that she has for Xing Tian rushes over her.  For this reason, she accepts Tai Si’s suggestion and secretly joins in the procession to bring revenge on Xing Tian…

            Ke Xin and the outgoing Tiao Tiao have a friendship similar to that of the manga NANA.  One has self-confidence, the other is lacking in self-confidence; one has a goal in live, the other is lolling around; one squanders away money, the other is stingy and follows the family rule.  Although they have had a misunderstanding because of Jia Bao, yet after the misunderstanding is cleared up, their friendship becomes deeper.  With a strong personality that is unwilling to give in and under Xing Tian’s painstaking nurturing, she is finally able to get through many obstacles.  She is able to shine in her job and find the goal that she has been lacking of in her life.

(portrayed by Jin Pei Sheng) – Male, manager, 30 years old.  A cold, ruthless and cruel personality that contains a powerful force.  He is usually silent, uncommunicative and doesn’t speak more than three sentences in a day.  Yet, if one provokes him, then that person would be in big trouble.

            Before he gets into “Quan Jing Ji,” Tai Si was originally a boxer.  He would often be out of the county competing in competitions.  As a child, he has been silent and uncommunicative.  He and his elder brother, Tai Yu are raised by their grandmother.  Although they don’t see each other often, but their relationship is very deep.  They both have a dream of buying a western-style house to give to the grandmother who had raised them.

            His elder brother, Tai Yu, being young and handsome enters into the entertainment industry.  After joining “Quan Jing Ji,” he becomes an idol singer that Xing Tian widely promotes.  Yet because he was young, innocent, and became famous in a hurry, he was under tremendous pressure.  It leads to his excessive gambling and drinking to relieve his stress.  Because Tai Yu borrowed money from the mafia for his gambling, he was under a huge debt.  This was all taken care of by Xing Tian and Tai Yu repeatedly promised Xing Tian that he won’t gamble again.

            However, as the proverb goes, a leopard cannot change his spots.  Tai Yu couldn’t change his gambling ways.  During one time when he is being forced to pay up his debt by the mafia, he makes a call out to Xing Tian for help.  However, Xing Tian didn’t even answer the phone…   With no way out, Tai Yu chooses to put an end to himself and put an end to everything else.  At that time, Tai Si was just getting ready to step into the boxing ring to compete for a championship when he suddenly receives the news that his brother has jumped off a building and killed himself.  Tai Si let his anger flow and accidentally kills his opponent.  He was charged with involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to 2 years in prison.  Their grandmother suffers the shock from these events and loses her mentality and her intelligence draws back to a 6-7 year old child.

            At the time when Xing Tian refused to answer Tai Yu’s call, Tai Si just happens to be beside Xing Tian.  As a result, Tai Si has regarded Xing Tian as being the murderer who did not help his brother and watch him die.  After he was released from prison, the first thing that Tai Si did is to find Xing Tian and get revenge.  To his surprise, Xing Tian did not evade or get out of his way.  Xing Tian only asked Tai Si one question:  If you get arrested again, then how will you take care of your grandmother who has no one to depend on now?

            Tai Si did not know how to respond.  Xing Tian coldly says:  To defeat an enemy without getting violent, that is the greatest victory.  As a result, he wants Tai Si to get into “Quan Jing Ji” and when Tai Si is strong enough to resist him then come and defeat him and that would be the greatest victory.

            Tai Si uses the relations associated with his job to slowly come between Xing Tian and his artists’ relationship.  In the end, he takes all the artists from “Quan Jing Ji” and goes over to Gao Lao Ban, whom he believes have been taking care of his grandmother this whole time.  He united Jia Bao, Ke Xin, and officially declares war on Xing Tian to start a big fight within the entertainment industry.  Under Xing Tian’s training, Tai Si’s coldness and ruthlessness could be said as no different than Xing Tian’s.  However, just like Tiao Tiao is Xing Tian’s only weakness, Tai Si’s heart and sincerity is totally given to Qiao An Na.  He understands that An Na only has Xing Tian in her heart.  However, he still chooses to silently stand behind An Na.  Perhaps for An Na’s happiness, he should officially break it off with Xing Tian…

(portrayed by Deng Jiu Yun) – A female manager, 29 years old.  Energetic and competent, is great with establishing social relations, beautiful and generous, is gentle and considerate towards others and understanding.  As a result, any artist within the company that is unhappy about anything would go to her to complain.  She takes matters seriously, is responsible and also very loyal.

            Following Xing Tian for many years, she has always been very loyal to him.  She is Xing Tian’s assistant as well as in charge of “Quan Jing Ji’s” public relations.  When she was young, she had a dream to become a celebrity but with one sentence from Xing Tian “You are not suitable to be a celebrity,” her dream was shattered.  As a result, she obediently follows beside Xing Tian as a manager.

(portrayed by Gao Jie) – Male, 45 years old.  A mafia boss.  He is cruel and merciless and kills without batting an eye.  In the underworld, just hearing the name of his gang “Tiger Hall” would cause one to shiver in fear.  His most famous phrase would be: “This is not about money, this is about honor…”

            He is a complete opposite of Xing Tian’s calm and cool nature.  All of Gao Lao Ban’s likes and dislikes are shown on his face and he never covers it up.  When he is in a good mood, he would laugh out loudly but once he gets angry, he would not care who that person is.  He has a lot of fierceness in him but he lacks in strategizing.  He is the typical temperamental person.

            He always has beautiful women by his side.  Starting from the incident with Young, he slowly makes his way into the entertainment circle.  He discovers that there are many benefits in the entertainment industry.  As a result, he decides to get into this business also.  He is accidentally mistaken as the benefactor who has been taking care of Tai Si’s grandmother.  Gao Lao Ban did not admit nor did he deny.  Instead, this helps to bring him closer to Tai Si and later becomes the hand that Tai Si prepares to use to help defeat Xing Tian.

(portrayed by Lu Man Yin) – Female, 50 years old.  The guardian of the Xuan family and Tiao Tiao’s mother.  She has a warm and frank personality.  Timid but impulsive, has a loud voice.  Often one would hear her yelling at someone from the door.  She is a multi-task person.  Her cooking skills can be compared with the famous chef, Fu Pei Mei.  She also has a reputation for being stingy and always calculates every little thing.

            When she was young, her heart was won over by Father Xuan’s 100 love letters.  She accompanies Father Xuan’s dream to become a famous writer.  Later she finds out that Father Xuan does not have a writer’s bone in him and she finally sees the truth.  From then on, the woman behind the big man has to become the woman who brings home the bread and butter.

            With a sharp mouth and a soft heart, she would shout at her husband, who stays home all day long, to go out and find a job.  She would tell Tiao Tiao not to be like her father and dream some silly dream about becoming a director.  She tells Tiao Tiao that directors either starve to death or die from being poor.  She tells Tiao Tiao to go and find a government job or just go and find someone and get married.  Mother Xuan is especially loud when it comes to Meng Yu, who either spends his time all day long on the computer or gambling on horse races.  Yet Meng Yu would always know how to whine and acts like a spoiled brat in front of Mother Xuan causing Mother Xuan to not know what to do with him.

            Being the servant of a rich family is something that Mother Xuan plans meticulously and carefully.  Being a servant would include meals and living headquarters, this will be able to save quite a few costs.  As a result, the Xuan family has always been servants for rich families. 

            She likes to watch Korean dramas and each time that she watches, she would cry.  Her youngest daughter would always be the one that hands her the tissues.  As a result, Mother Xuan says that she will save lots of money so that her youngest daughter can go to Korea and become a big celebrity.

            The 6 months before Ke Xin went bankrupt, Mother Xuan arrives at Ke Xin’s home as a servant.  This allows Ke Xin to experience the family warmth that she has lost and thus understand how to care about others.  Jia Bao, who grew up on Hong Kong’s Temple Street and always living in a world that is filled with violence, experiences the feeling of having someone care for him through Mother Xuan.  As for Xing Tian, who has always been protecting himself within a thick wall, he is finally able to relax through Mother Xuan’s influence.  He no longer puts on a taut expression all day long and causes people to fear him with his aloofness.  Xing Tian finds the laughter in his life that has been missing for a long time.

(portrayed by Bu Xue Liang) – Male, 55 years old.  Has a personality of a totally unimportant person, feels inferior but is arrogant, optimistic but has no willpower, has a short attention span, great with talking but often brags too much.  His only good point is that he is totally optimistic towards life and he fights on despite repeated setbacks.  He persists in his goal and courageously forges forward.  The phrase that he uses a lot is “in the world of 16:9, miracles can happen at anytime…”

            When Father Xuan was young, his writings would get published in the newspaper and as a result, he vainly hopes to become a famous writer.  However, no matter how much he writes, he couldn’t come up with anything good enough.  He either scolds the newspaper for having no conscience, or he would scold the publisher for having bad taste.  He even secretly went and published a book with his own money.  He never thought that people wouldn’t even take his book if he was to give it to them for free.  Putting it at home would even take up free space.  In the end, all of the books were taken to be recycled by Mother Xuan.

            He goes around looking at different jobs but he calls that looking around for his inspirations, experiencing life, making friends broadly.  He makes friends from all over the place and likes to brag.  As a result, he would often make bad friends and end up being cheated out of his money.  He is the number one troublemaker in the Xuan family.

            Through a friend’s introduction, he gets into “Quan Jing Ji” to work as a clerk.  He tells people outside that he is good friends with Xing Tian.  Yet the truth is that he has never even seen Xing Tian before.  This is the kind of bragging personality that Father Xuan has.  However, when Father Xuan is finally able to write a novel in the end, it becomes Tiao Tiao’s script for her first movie.  As for Tiao Tiao’s first movie, it received many praises.  Both father and daughter are able to show some success in their life.

(portrayed by An Dong Ni) – An adolescent boy, 16 years old.  Has a cheerful nature, rebellious, impulsive, likes to brag and exaggerate and is very creative with his thoughts.

            He dreams about getting rich all day long.  He believes that he has the brains for being a businessman and is the smartest one in the whole family.  He dreams about owning a Honda Hornet 250 and driving hot girls around.  His mouth would start watering once he sees a Honda Hornet 250 through a display window.

(portrayed by Zhang Chao Min) – Male, 25 years old.  One of Gao Lao Ban’s followers. 

            The most highly regarded person from Gao Lao Ban’s followers.  He has keen reflexes and always offer advises to Gao Lao Ban.

(portrayed by Xia Tong) – Female.  Qiao An Na’s assistant.  She worships An Na and dresses up just like her.  Actually she is very competent with her job and is the most flexible assistant in the company but she is a bit of a bully.  As a result, she can’t stand Ke Xin’s careless attitude and appreciates Tiao Tiao’s positive initiatives.  She becomes a troublemaker for Tiao Tiao and Ke Xin in work and in love.

(portrayed by Tang Jia Hao) – Male, 25 years old.  A male artist in “Quan Jing Ji” who is always in Young’s shadows.

            He is the diligent and serious type.  An idol singer that just wants to sing and become a great artist.  However, his talent just can’t be compared with Young’s and he can’t become the top artist in “Quan Jing Ji.”  Aside from being discouraged, he also gets used by Tai Si.  He turns to Tai Si and revolts against Xing Tian.  However, through this whole process, he finds out the true value of being an artist.  He then turns back and help Xing Tian and Young to fight against Tai Si.  From the beginning he has been on opposite sides and competing with Young.  Yet in the end, they become good friends and help each other out.  Through the course of these events, he learns the value and the responsibility of being an artist.
