            Female, 27 years old.  Post-It note girl and a small administrative worker who handles errands within a law firm which includes those of others and her own.  She is gentle, simple with small wishes and lacks her own opinions.  Just like post-it notes, with small functionalities and not eye-catching, yet is indispensible in life.  She grew up from a normal working family and her name, “Xin Yi” is the most common in the entire county.  Her little wishes each day is hoping that her boss won’t scold her, the work that her colleagues give her will be less, someone would occasionally value the things that she has to say and her boyfriend would remember her birthday…

            With a friendly appearance, Xin Yi actually gives people a sense of security.  If someone secretly wants to curse the boss, the first person that they think of is Xin Yi.  Living a normal life, Xin Yi unexpectedly has the most absurd one night stand with Chun Xi, a prince charming whom everyone admires.  More over, she even gets pregnant!  Xin Yi has a shotgun wedding and marries into the Ji family.  After marriage, Xin Yi sees Chun Xi’s adorable boyish side and even finds out that Chun Xi is the first male who would really get “jealous” because of her.  As a result, she couldn’t help but gradually falls in love with him…

            However, Cun Xi’s actual girlfriend, Anna, returns to the country and Xin Yi wakes up.  She will not continue to be the uncomplaining and submissive post-it note who follows everything that fate throws at her anymore.  Her fate will lie in her own hands!!  After leaving Chun Xi, Xin Yi follows in Dylan’s footsteps, beginning her journey of growing up and transformation…

            Male, 27 years old.  Straightforward and follows rules by the book.  Because of his upbringing, he appears to be arrogant and aloft but in actuality, he is concealing the heart of a child within him.  He is Ji Cun Xi and is Ji family’s sole male heir of nine generations.  The ninth generation CEO of Asia’s largest daily chemicals group – Magical Enterprise Group.

            Since young Cun Xi rarely interacts with others and he doesn’t really understand how to socialize with those working under him.  He lacks thoughtfulness when dealing with interpersonal relationships and follows everything by the books without any sensitivity to other people’s feelings.  With regards to love, Cun Xi is extremely devoted.  He has someone who he is infatuated with – Anna.  For her dancing career, Anna heads to New York and Cun Xi promises to wait for her for three years.  Yet, after Anna’s departure, Cun Xi has the most absurd one night stand in history and accidentally got “post-it note girl” Xin Yi pregnant!  Under grandma’s intimidation, he marries Xin Yi.

            From hating this “marriage” in the beginning, to the day when he surprisingly realizes that Xin Yi’s existence has become a habit that he doesn’t want to lose, Cun Xi has changed.  Cun Xi discovers that he has fallen in love with Xin Yi…  However, Anna returns!  One is a ballet princess whom he has been infatuated with for a long time, and the other is a post-it note girl whom unconsciously and gradually takes over his heart.  This high and mighty CEO would soon be caught up in an unexpected love storm!

            Male, 27 years old.  A top manager in the world of art auctions.  “I’m not interested in the art that everyone else is chasing crazily after!  Real value can only be found in discoveries that are not yet uncovered!”  He has a keen vision, an easy-going personality, a passion for adventurous trips, is optimistic, has a bright smile and is sociable.  In his youth, Dylan was separated from his younger sister and was adopted by Father John at the St. John Orphanage.  Dylan is very mature for his age, independent and never feels inferior because of his lowly background.

            His biggest wish is that all the kids in the world will have a complete family and a happy childhood.  There is never a steady female companion by his side.  His artistic personality causes him to have a unique view towards his taste of women.  He believes that one day he will be able to discover an uncut jade that has not yet been found, a woman that belongs to Dylan.

            Until that one day, a scatterbrained girl barges into the confession room.  This girl, who has the same name as his younger sister “Xin Yi,” tells him the most absurd one night stand that he has ever heard.  Transferring the feelings that he has from his long lost sister to Xin Yi, Dylan stands up for her because Xin Yi is Saint John’s Mother Xin Yi and so he is Father Dylan!

            After Dylan finds out that Cun Xi gives up Xin Yi for Anna, Dylan takes Xin Yi away from this sad place and prepares to carve Xin Yi, this uncut jade, into a brightly sparkling gem!

            Female, 26 years old.  Beautiful, smart, filled with absolute self-confidence, strong willed.  Possessing both inner quality and outer beauty, there are many little scars on her arms from her dance practices.  However, Anna never tries to hide them because she believes that they are badges that prove her hard work!

            Anna is a successful career-oriented woman who focuses on her goals and as a result, she neglects the man that is by her side.  She dares to reject Cun Xi’s marriage proposal because she is filled with confidence that Cun Xi would never leave her.  Even though he is the man whom she loves the most, but in Anna’s goals in life, he will always be number 2!

            During the time when she is in New York, Anna had an accident.  She returns sadly to the country only to find that everything has changed.  A woman is carrying Cun Xi’s child and even got married to him.  Filled with fighting spirit, Anna longs to get back her “power” and forcefully takes Cun Xi away from Xin Yi’s side.

            However, Anna finds out that Cun Xi is no longer the Cun Xi who was infatuated with her.  At the same time, Anna accidentally gets pregnant.  Anna, who has never lost before, will have to fight for her own happiness?  Or let the one she loves pursue his own true happiness?  Leaving the ballet’s stage, what is awaiting Anna on life’s stage is an even more intense and cruel battle with fate!

            Male, 31 years old.  Cun Xi’s special assistant and also the Director of Public Relations.

            Anson is a protective special assistant who is very loyal to his “wise and capable” master Ji Cun Xi.  He is Cun Xi’s most capable right-hand man.  Sometimes his eagerness to please Cun Xi would backfire on him and can produce humorous results.

            However, when it comes to Cun Xi’s love life, Anson is someone who wavers in his decisions.  In his eyes, only Anna is worthy to be with Ji Cun Xi.  As a result, when he finds out that the unfashionable Xin Yi will be with Cun Xi, he almost fainted as he couldn’t accept it.  It was only when Anson sees how Xin Yi keeps on sacrificing for Cun Xi and how she persists in spite of Cun Xi’s cold attitude that Anson was touched.  Only then did he change his previous impression of Xin Yi and feel that the person who is really worthy to be with Cun Xi is her.

            Male, 28 years old.  Wu Lu Lu’s son and could be considered as a generous boss and bully of a small island.

            He likes to be in the limelight, talks loudly, considers himself to be extremely smart and is full of emotions for the small island.  He is always coming up with silly ideas but without fully understanding the whole situation and so he would often not understand where the problem lies after his plans fall apart.

            His family’s business “Wu Liu Liu” is one of the few companies that still rely solely on manpower in the chemical industry and they are responsible for the livelihood of the whole Jiang Mu Island’s inhabitants.  After finding out that Ji Cun Xi has acquired Wu Liu Liu and intends to automate the factory while many of the island’s inhabitants dependent on the factory will lose their jobs, Qi Qi and his father, Lu Lu, conspire to use a seduction plan to blackmail Ji Cun Xi.  However, they never expected that they would be dragging Xin Yi who also comes from Jiang Mu Island into this mess.

            Male, 53 years old.  The boss of Jiang Mu Island’s hair growth product, “Wu Liu Liu” company.

            Simple and honest, loyal to friends and full of energy.  Because he is too honest, it results in the company’s bad management which leads to the bank putting it up for auction.  The bid for the bank debt is won by Cun Xi and because Cun Xi wants to reorganize the factory, Wu Lu Lu leads the old employees to protest and even sets up a seduction trap to force Cun Xi to comply!

            Female, 78 years old.  The Chairwoman of Magical Enterprise.  Filled with wisdom and far sight, very capable, a little mischievous as well as superstitious.  For example, when she hears that a sheep’s milk is good for one’s health, Zhen Zhu would immediately raise a flock of sheep at the Ji house; Cun Xi has asthma when he was young, Zhen Zhu believed in an old remedy and immediately raises two crocodiles to help nourish his health etc…

            Because the Ji family seems to be under a curse and have very little male heirs in each generation, and now they are in their ninth generation and only have one male heir, this causes Zhen Zhu to lose sleep out of worry every day as she deeply fears that this tiny family flame could easily be extinguished if they are careless!  Zhen Zhu wishes with all her heart that Cun Xi can be like the second heir generations of other rich families and have many women.  Yet, unfortunately this grandson is decent and respects his body.  Zhen Zhu tracks her grandson’s love life every day, then what about herself?

            When Zhen Zhu was young, she once had a tragic and beautiful love story.  Zhen Zhu once fell in love with a young and poor artist.  The two of them parted due to family reasons and Zhen Zhu can only entrust Dylan to help her secretly support her lover’s works in the business market…  In Zhen Zhu’s heart, she has a small wish and that is to be able to find him in the remaining years of her life and spend the rest of that time with him…

            Male, 29 years old.  Xiu Ling’s son and Cun Xi’s non blood-related elder brother.  On the surface, he appears to be as loyal and obedient as a dog but in reality, he is a wolf who is trying to fight and snatch power away from Cun Xi!

            He excels in strategizing and socializing.  With regards to complex interpersonal relations with others, he is completely different than Cun Xi, who follows everything by the books.  He often uses “shortcuts” to handle matters such as, secret trading, bribery, etc…

            Zheng Ren holds a job at the Enterprise and his way of handling things would often earn him Cun Xi’s angry rebukes and corrections, which causes him to lose face.  As a result, on the surface, Zheng Ren appears to be respectful and obedient towards Cun Xi but deep within, he really hates Cun Xi.  He even uses the people in the Enterprise’s internal departments who are not happy with Cun Xi’s ways of doing to things to build his own power.

            A person, who Cun Xi looks down upon the most, is the one who is actually the most dangerous to him…

            Female, 55 years old.  Cun Xi’s stepmother.  After Cun Xi’s father passed away, Xiu Ling decides to divide the inheritance and leave the Ji family.

            Capable, practical, is good at seeing through to what others are thinking about, always has a smile on her face.  She is also thick-skinned and can talk through any situation.

            When Xiu Ling married into the Ji family and becomes Cun Xi’s father’s second wife, she brought her son from another marriage “Zheng Ren” with her.  After entering the Ji family, Xiu Ling is always acting as an obedient and virtuous wife in front of Cun Xi’s father and appears to get along very well with Zhen Zhu.  She did not let her longing for power and her dissatisfaction with the Ji family show one bit.  Yet after the death of Cun Xi’s father, the Enterprise’s management runs into a crisis and Xiu Ling immediately suggests dividing the inheritance.

            She never expected that the Enterprise would revive and rapidly expands.  Xiu Ling decides to come back and is constantly thinking of ways to get her own son to take over the inheritance of the Enterprise.  For the sake of Zheng Ren, she can be thick-skinned and put up with everyone’s sneering smiles and scornful looks.  She will implement any rational decisions that will be the “best for Zheng Ren.”

            As a result, when Zheng Ren was driven out of Magical Enterprise and caught for trying to take revenge, Xiu Ling did not hesitate to step up and take all the blame for him.  For her only son, Xiu Ling is willing to sacrifice anything!

            Female, 38 years old.  A wealthy widow who inherited a large inheritance from her husband.  She is reaching 40 in age but still retains her beauty.  Because she is lonely, she joins the VIP trip on a love cruise and immediately hits it off with Gucci on board.  The two of them gets involved in a romantic and happy affair.

            Male, 28 years old.  Xin Yi’s ex-boyfriend.

            The prince at Xin Yi’s workplace.  He’s a playboy, frivolous, likes to brag and likes to show off.  He thinks that he is an extraordinary fashionable handsome guy but in reality, he has not succeeded in anything.  Trying to act flamboyant, he always likes to wear name brands but his pockets are often empty since he has exceeded his limits on his credit cards long ago.

            Gucci is an expert with sweet talks and flattering words.  When he decides to quit his job, he discovers that this post-it note girl, Xin Yi, is very useful.  He knows that Xin Yi wants to get married and settled down but she doesn’t have much experience in love.  As a result, she becomes Gucci’s prey.  He would often flirt with other girls behind Xin Yi’s back and when he runs out of money, he would go back to her and ask for her forgiveness.

            Female, 53 years old.  Xin Yi’s mother. 

            A villager on Jiang Mu Island.  She likes to nag but when it comes to handling family affairs, she is never careless.  Although she can be a little fierce and snobbish, but if anyone dares to harm her family, she will be the first person to charge forward and fight with you!

            After her husband died, she raised her three daughters on her own.  After her eldest daughter, Qing Xia and second daughter, Feng Jiao married, the only left is Xin Yi, who has never caused her any worries.  Unexpectedly, Xin Yi who left her hometown to find work got pregnant and appeared on the news when she tried to buy a pregnancy test kit.  Moreover, the father of the baby is the CEO of a big Enterprise who bought their Jiang Mu Island, Ji Cun Xi.  For the sake of ensuring the Island’s survival, the neighbors pleaded with her to agree to the Ji family’s marriage proposal.  Yet, how can she entrust her daughter’s life to a rich family that belongs to another world for this mere reason?  This is like asking her to sell her daughter!  She is most afraid… that her foolish girl, Xin Yi, will end up suffering like herself.

            Wu Qi Qi’s wife.  She has a stubborn personality.  When she has an argument with her husband, she will run away from home even though she is heavy with child as a means to protest against her husband.
