capable of many things. There is nearly nothing that can he
can't do. But it is also because he is too smart that to him,
everything in life can be easily accomplished. As a result, he
feels that his life is lacking in objectives. Xiang Qin's
appearance brought about a whole succession of unexpected things
in Zhi Shu's once calm and peaceful life. Zhi Shu, who has
never experienced the meaning of the word defeat, doesn't
understand Xiang Xin's undefeatable and fearless spirit and
slowly starts to develop an interest in her. At the same time,
he gets influenced by Xiang Qin's simple and naïve logics and
from there, he has found his goal in life to study medicine…

and has patience. Yet she's not very smart and also knows
nothing about house works. Sure, she is always making mistakes
and causing trouble but nevertheless, she still works diligently
and tirelessly towards her goal. Her first year of High School,
she fell in love at first sight with Zhi Shu during the opening
ceremony of the new school year where Zhi Shu was making a
speech on behalf of the new students. In her third year of High
School, she makes up her mind to express her feelings to Zhi Shu
but gets heartlessly rejected. She tries to convince herself to
not like Zhi Shu anymore. However, she never expected that her
father and Zhi Shu's father are good friends of many years and
that they would move in to live with Jiang's family after an
earthquake that made their house collapse. This is how Xiang
Qin and Zhi Shu start their new life living under the same roof… |

- Zhi Shu's mother, a housewife, a bit senseless, likes
liveliness, and loves taking pictures very much. She gets along
very well with Xiang Qin and as a result, she thinks up of all
sorts of ways to get Xiang Qin and Zhi Shu together. She often
disguises herself and goes to Zhi Shu's school to investigate on
Zhi Shu and Xiang Qin's situation or to spread news that the two
of them are going out together. However, her disguise is often
seen through by other people. Ah Li Sao, who loves her son very
much, always believes that what she has planned out for her
child's life is the best for him. Instead, the result brings
about Zhi Shu's retaliation and planted signs of conflicts for
mother and son.

good-natured, kind personality and very loyal. He hopes with
all his heart that Zhi Shu would get into his alma mater, the

- Xiang Qin's father, the owner of "Good Luck" Japanese
Restaurant. He has excellent cooking skills and is good friends
with Zhi Shu's father since their school days. He brings up
Xiang Qin all by himself after his wife passed away. He feels
bad that Xiang Qin doesn't know how to cook and do housework,
believing that it's his fault that he hasn't taught her well
enough. |

- Zhi Shu's younger brother. He adores and admires his elder
brother Zhi Shu very much. His biggest wish is to become his
brother's assistant after Zhi Shu succeeds their father's
company. He doesn't look highly at adults who are not too smart
and as a result, he is not too fond of Xiang Qin. He regards
Xiang Qin as a research object for his summer vacation
homework. He often pays attention to the foolish things that
Xiang Qin does. Yet he also gradually gets moved by Xiang Qin's
foolish and sincere ways. During a family trip, he witnessed
Zhi Shu stealing a kiss from Xiang Qin. He is the only person
who knows that Zhi Shu likes Xiang Qin. |

- Xiang Qin's classmate. He's not too bright but he is very
good at sports. He has started liking Xiang Qin since the first
year of High School and his biggest wish is to get married to
her. In order to create a beautiful home with Xiang Qin
together, he did not get into a university after graduating from
High School. During the day, he would work in the school's
cafeteria, and at night, he would be an apprentice at The Good
Luck Restaurant. |

- Comes from a rich family. Because she admires Zhi Shu's
ability and elegant demeanor, she chooses to go to study at the
Technical Institute of Tonan University. Intelligent,
beautiful, and capable - Xiang Qin just can't match up to Zi Yu,
who has all these good qualities. Each time they see each
other, they would argue. Yet when they both feel threatened by
the force of a new love rival, Sha Sui Zi, they are able to join
and work together. Even though she likes Zhi Shu very much but
she is the type of girl that knows when to hold on and when to
let go. |

like a tomboy. Speaks loudly, moves roughly, has her own
personality and thinking. She is Xiang Qin's good friend,
always giving her advices to Xiang Qin and not afraid of her

- Xiang Qin's classmate. After graduating from High School, she
and Xiang Qin both went to Literal Institutes. She loves
dressing up and putting on make up and you often find her
putting on nail polish. The significance of her life is to be a
good wife and nestle in the arms of a man. Once in awhile, she
would have her sights on a guy and would forget all about her
friends. When Xiang Qin is wronged, she and Ya Nong, would
bravely stand out to criticize Zhi Shu. But once they are done
with what they have to say, they would hurriedly run away. |

- Zhi Shu's elder High School classmate. The tennis club's
two-faced guy. Usually, he would be very good-natured with
people but once he holds up a tennis racket, he would become an
extreme terror. He likes Zi Yu a lot but unfortunately, even
though he has the heart, Zi Yu doesn't reciprocate his feelings
and has never paid him any attention. His personality is a bit
deceitful and a bit wicked. He often uses Zhi Shu's news in
exchange for benefits with Xiang Qin. |

controlled personality, is an extremely outstanding
entrepreneur. He admires Zhi Shu's talent very much because he
