(portrayed by Wang Zhong Ping) – Rui Rui’s father and has a mental problem.  Aside from losing his beloved wife in a car accident, it also caused him to lose his intellect which leads him to act like a 5-6 year old child.  Yet because of fate, he becomes good friends with Tao Si and often enlightens Tao Si on many things.  He believes in the legend that if he can catch 1,000 butterflies then he can have one wish come true.  He wishes that his beloved wife, Mei Lian can return to his side.  As a result, he usually runs around the farm catching butterflies.  He has the proper equipment with him:  the butterfly net is like a sword being carried behind his back.  Da Qin has a kind-hearted personality but there is a head band on his head which was weaved by his deceased wife.  He dislikes it when people touch his head band.  If someone touches it, he will start beating that person up. – from CTV

(portrayed by Yu Hao Ran) – The director of the orphanage next to the farm.  She is graceful and caring.  Aside from adopting a group of orphan children, because her appearance is similar to Da Qin’s deceased wife, Mei Lian, he has always had a crush on Yue Bai.  Later they will get into a relationship.  She has a relationship like mother and son with Tian Qi.  She would often give advices to him and at the same time, she also enlightens Da Qin about many things. – from CTV

(portrayed by Chen Bai Lun) – Employee at the farm and is the typical type of country boy.  He is warm-hearted and straightforward but sometimes he would cause trouble with his recklessness.  He has always had a crush on Sha Sha and is Sha Sha’s lovesick protector.  If Sha Sha is being bullied by someone, he would stand out and fend for her.  Yet, it is also because of this that he would often get injured. – from CTV
