            The elder sister of the magical girls.  She is the typical heroin who will lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  What?  Are you telling her to mind her own business against the unfairness of this society?  That’s impossible!  She’s a magical girl with a mission from Heaven!  Fan Jia Jia has been born with magic but she doesn’t abuse it.  Only when she needs to help someone would she “slightly” use it!  Jia Jia’s appearance doesn’t look any different than any ordinary girls, aside from having a rushed personality, a sense of urgency, plus her obsession with cleanliness and having a strong sense of justice and a standard set of rules ~ Because she deeply believes that she should help others, she goes to nursing school and is determined to save people!  But saving people is only one of her goals.  The other goal would be the dream she has in her heart – in fact, Jia Jia really hopes that she can meet her childhood first love again – and this first love is her childhood sweetheart – Zhu Yao Wen.  Because Yao Wen pledges to be a police officer when he grows up, this is the 2nd reason why Jia Jia wants to be a nurse!  Jia Jia believes that if Yao Wen truly becomes a police officer, then he would get hurt easily from his job and will have to go to the hospital.  Then, perhaps, they would be able to meet again!  If need be, if she has to give up her magic to establish a happy and content family with him, give birth to their child, she wouldn’t mind at all!

            Jing Jing’s appearance is one that will make anyone stop and stare!  She is straightforward and heartless in her words so often speaks with a harsh tongue.  Her personality is totally the opposite of Jia Jia!  The birth of Jing Jing represents that disaster will descend on all the men in this world…  To Jing Jing, “love” is only a “way for women not to worry about food or clothing!”  To her, being born as a girl with magic is the happiest thing in this whole world!  As a result, she doesn’t love anyone at all and also doesn’t have any idea what love is.  This is because she will absolutely not lose her magic for love, marriage or children.  Basically, if you treat her as a “queen”, then you won’t have to worry about offending her!  Then… is there anything special to take notice of?  Yes ~ she is used to being the center of everyone’s attention.  If you dare to ignore her existence, then you are dead!

            Liang Liang was adopted by the Zhu family after she was lost when she was young.  She is a very considerate and filial girl.  Because Grandma regards her as one of the Zhu family’s members, she treasures this rare kinship even more.  Nevertheless, she would occasionally still wonder if she will be able to see her birth family one day…  Liang Liang is a magical girl who has no idea that she has magical powers.  Aside from the fact that sometimes she doesn’t know why when she accidentally touches her ear, the thing that she wishes for in her heart would come true?  As a result, in a deep corner of Liang Liang’s heart, she would always feel that “good people will have good outcomes!”  Liang Liang has a very timid personality.  Many things will appear much more frightening than it really is from her thoughts.  She is a bit neurotic and always creates many funny moments!

            Zhu family’s elder.  She possesses all the financial power of the family and is also the person who determines how the family’s inheritance will be divided.  Under her name, aside from a “Number 18 Custom Inn,” she holds in her hands $800 million dollars worth of land property!  After divorcing her useless husband, she built her business with her own hands.  Actually, she is a very reserved and uptight person.  She will keep all her happiness and sadness within her heart.  No matter how much care and love she has for her son, she will always put on a serious face causing her child to be unable to feel her maternal love.  Busy with work, she also neglects in disciplining her children.  Until after they grow up and although each have their own family, but they are still confused and impolite.  Everyone lives their own lives and the family is a total state of disunity.  As a result, Man Jiao thinks up of a plan.  If everyone wants a piece of her fortune, then they must all live by the Zhu ancestors’ teachings – “family lives in harmony, respectful of each other and be filial.”  After she makes this public announcement, in a flash, everyone truly becomes a harmonious and happy family?!

            Man Jiao’s eldest son.  From top to bottom, from head to toe, he has the complete makings of a tough guy.  A flowery patterned shirt and disheveled hair is his trademark.  Has high aims and ambitions and boasting is the trademark of his personality.  Fortunately, he still has one good point and that is his culinary skills in the kitchen.  At least, he has some contribution to this family.  Since all he hopes for is getting some of his mother’s fortune, as a result, he is very careful in “looking after his own health.”  This is because, if he doesn’t have a long life, then all the money in the world would do him no good!  Speaking of which, we should also mention his wife of 20 years.  He and Pan Xin Lian’s love story is the standard teenage love.  They fell in love quickly and married quickly.  However, he is still frivolous in his young age which caused him to play around outside.  Moreover, his affair leads his outside girlfriend to become pregnant?!  In the first year while Xin Lian is still caught up in the happiness of being a newlywed, she unexpectedly becomes the mother of this child from this affair!  As a result, Xin Lian and Guang Nian are caught up in a lifetime of problems and emotional battles…

            She used to be an enthusiastic and optimistic young singing girl.  Although there are many political and business pursuers in her audience, but she doesn’t have the time of the day for any one of them.  She never imagined that she would fall in love at first sight with the young rowdy, Zhu Guang Nian, who proposed to her.  Xin Lian was deeply attracted to Guang Nian and couldn’t pull herself away.  It was truly “love at first sight” for her.  Who knew that she gives up everything to marry him but after a year of marriage what she gets in return is the destiny of raising another woman’s child!  This is a wound in her heart that can never be extinguished.  As a result, a few years later, she is pregnant.  Guan Nian was happy for 10 months and at the moment that the child is born, Xin Lian tells him that the child is not his!  This was earth shattering news to Guan Nian and in that instant, Xin Lian gets the happy sensation that she has gotten her revenge!  As a result, she becomes a noble, elegant and sophisticated woman on the outside but in actuality, she is only a hypocritical woman with false emotions and desires!  However, the true feelings of love that she has had in the past, has it really disappeared?

            Guan Nian’s eldest son.  Because he is Guan Nian’s child with another woman from his affair, he has been quite close to his father since he was young.  Yao Wen also inherited his father’s rouge and rowdy ways.  He doesn’t like to study and lacks in common sense but he believes that he is intelligent.  The result is that he will make more mistakes by his “intelligence!”  Yao Wen has a very impulsive personality.  If he can’t agree on something with someone, he would want to solve the problem with his fists.  If he stands next to his father, they are almost completely alike!  Basically, he is a filial child.  He would listen to more or less of what Guan Nian tells him.  However, if he carelessly crosses Xin Lian then it would be a fierce battle.  Often, Guan Nian would have to be the one to get in between and solve the problem between Yao Wen and Xin Lian.  Yao Wen doesn’t have any goals for the future.  In any case, once he inherits the family fortune, he would be able to eat and drink endlessly and don’t have to worry about doing anything for the rest of his life.  As a result, as long as he collaborates to act out the picture of a harmonious and happy family, even if he is furious, he would still immediately act out the Zhu ancestors’ teachings.

            Yao Wu is about 27 years old and is the so-called child that Xin Lian had from her “affair.”  Because of his “special” identity, he personally acknowledges that he is the one person who is most unrelated to this family.  His indifferent personality makes him very cold.  He has no particular preference or opinion on anything and as a result, he hates to make decisions.  Since young, he has formed the habit of being “indecisive.”  Therefore, he doesn’t make decisions.  He remains neutral, doesn’t make any choices and is relaxed and carefree.  As a result, once he makes up his mind, even if there are many other choices that appear, he will not change and that is especially the case when it comes to love.

            Man Jiao’s second son.  Zhu Tie Han’s only son.  When Yao Wei was small, his father became enemies with a gang and died under the gunshot of his enemies.  His mother then ran away.  As a result, he grows up within the Zhu family’s huge residence.  Because he doesn’t have a father or mother, he knows how to read people well and “behave accordingly.”  Always with a smile on his face, he is very good at seeking out for his own personal gain and at using his brains.  He pretends to be on the same side as Guan Nian and follows the crowd.  He is responsible for most of the work at the “Number 18 Custom Inn.”  For example, kitchen work, housekeeping, every small and big matters, he would take care of.  He never complains about anything, is earnest and knowing his place is his only merit!  Aside from Liang Liang, Yao Wei is the only other person in the house who would always be by Grandma Man Jiao’s side.  This is because he hopes that Grandma will double up his portion of the inheritance by giving him his father’s portion too.  This way, he can leave this house and freely go about on his own ~ but after Yao Wei grows up, he starts to purse his kind hearted, non-blood related cousin – Liang Liang.  She also has the right to get a portion of the inheritance.  So if he marries her, he will have all the money and power in the world and spend the rest of his life enjoying it all ~ but, will Yao Wei’s plan succeed?
