(portrayed by Blue Lan Cheng Long) – An innocent and
mischievous big kid. Since he was young, he has always looked
down on bullies and helped the weak. He’s impulsive and brave.
He appears to be very rough but he has always kept his father’s
old age in mind after he starts high school. Keeping it a
secret from his father, he joins the police academy where he
doesn’t need to pay tuition anymore. He and Jun Wei support
each other and both work hard towards their ideals. However,
the way that they both work towards accomplishing their goals
causes conflicts to arise between them. |

(portrayed by Lin You Wei) – Originally, he was always
playing around and acting foolishly. The topics of his
conversation never shift away from girls. However, after
graduating from high school, his family’s finances changed. He
suddenly starts acting very seriously and joins the policy
academy. His cousin is a high rank police officer which gives
him someone to depend on. Born with cleverness, he is good at
using a slick and sly attitude to pull strings and socialize
with others. |

(portrayed by Zheng You Jie) – Being the eldest
son from a family of farmers, he witnessed the conflicts that
erupted between his father and his uncle over inheritance issues
when he was young. A lonely and unsupportive childhood caused
his self-esteem to be deeply affected. Henceforth, he is
extremely slow in whatever decisions that he needs to make. The
first thing that he thinks of is protecting himself and so his
relationship with his police academy classmates is receding
rather than advancing… |

(portrayed by Gui Lun Mei) – 18 years old. Has a
personality where she keeps to herself. In order to accomplish
her father’s dream, she reluctantly replaces her younger sister
in joining the police academy. However, because she is not
physically fit and she has a phobia against water, she was
almost expelled from the police academy. Fortunately, with Han
Qiang and Jun Wei’s help, she was able to pass her exam. She
and Kai Yi are only one years apart. Their personality is
completely different but their appearances are very similar. |

(portrayed by Aggie Xie) – Has a lively and optimistic
personality and is very strong in her capabilities. Because she
doesn’t like to have everything planned by her family, she would
appear less serious than her elder sister Fang Yi. After
meeting Han Qiang and Jun Wei, she started to face her
schoolwork more energetically. Later, her forensic skills cause
her to be an extremely helpful player in criminal
investigations. |

lady, who returns to the county with her younger brother, Nuo
Man, in order to take over her family’s business. Her direct
feelings towards Han Qiang would cause any other man to be
bewildered. Instead, Han Qiang feels that their background is
as different as night and day and rejected her several times.
This relationship causes many hesitations in Han Qiang’s
carefree personality. |

(portrayed by Ma Zhi Xiang) – Senior at the police
academy. Has very good physical strength and is very popular
when he is in school. Has a strict and honest personality and
follows everything by the rules. He firmly opposes any matter
that is unreasonable or unrighteous. |

(portrayed by Niki Wu) – A beautiful female
prosecutor who the police force is extremely in awe of. In
front of others, she will always show her strong side. Because
she becomes haughty or unreasonable when her position is
supported, she would often make others feel that she is hard to
get close to. Han Qiang gets acquainted with her after an
accidental meeting which leads to their teacher/friend
relationship later on. |

– After returning to the country with Jennifer, he accidentally
meets Han Qiang during a dispute one time. He is the first one
who calls Han Qiang “Police et Vous.” He has a strong ambitious
heart when it comes to his career but because he doesn’t have
enough experience, he causes his family’s business to be caught
up in a big crisis. |

(portrayed by Wasir Zhou) – His background in the
orphanage developed his constrained and lonely emotions. He
regards Jennifer as his only family member and he is willing to
sacrifice anything to protect her. |

(portrayed by Johnny Lu Si Ming) – Is the elder
brother of Chen Ying Jie in the orphanage. His eyes are always
blazing with anger and he is always planning. Unhappy memories
from his childhood hammered out his vigorous ambitions and
decisive personality. He holds a small place for himself in the
business and political world. He would also point Chen Ying Jie
in the right direction at the right time.

cousin, a high rank police officer. His goal it to promote law
enforcement politics. He sacrifices time with his family to
socialize between high rank officials and people from all
trades. He oversteps his boundaries between the fuzzy lines of
good and evil. He is Jun Wei’s mental dependence and also his
heavy burden. |

(portrayed by Bu Xue Liang) – A senior police officer at
the local police station. He teaches Liu Hang Qiang, who just
graduated from the police academy, on how to be a “police
officer.” Han Qiang refers to him as his teacher. He has an
honest, enthusiastic personality who helps out those in need.
He doesn’t like it when police officers use their badge to
exaggerate their power and authority. He is a supporter of the
old time close relationship between a police officer and the
citizens. His attitude deeply affects Han Qiang. |

(portrayed by Pan Zhong Wei) – Another type of
senior police officers. He often does nothing and likes to put
forth an arrogant attitude. However, once he regards you as a
friend, then he would not hesitate to break any rules to help
and support you. The first time that Lin Jun Wei is placed into
a unit, he meets Tai Min.

(portrayed by Queena Liu) – A female reporter whose eyes
reveal a cunning and sly temperament. She has an untiring
perseverance and seeks the truth from the facts. Her sharp
questioning style causes police officers to want to run away
from her when they see her. Yet her capable appearance
thoroughly breaks apart after she falls into the web of love. |

(portrayed by Bao Ma) – Jennifer’s
mother. She and her husband established a clothing factory when
they were young. Through their struggles, their business
expanded and grew. After the company expanded, she received
the emotional betrayal from her husband. Living in a rich and
powerful world and holding onto the CEO position in the company
yet there is only emptiness and loneliness within her heart.

(portrayed by Hu Huan Wei) – Lives in the countryside and
is very considerate and caring towards his grandfather. He
dreams about spending the rest of his life with Ah Mei who
watches over the betel nut stand. There are many lazy people
like him all over the streets. If the police don’t take care of
them, they will very quickly be pulled into the mafia.

a girl who is extremely opinionated. After her father and
brother passed away from an accident, she and her mother are
left to watch over the betel nut stand.

(portrayed by Wang Jian Min) – A very powerful
and influential teacher when he was in the police academy. He
is very honest and pursues justice. However, after he is
transferred over to the Internal Affairs Department as its team
leader, he gradually discovers the contradictory conflicts
between reality and principle within the complicated
bureaucratic struggles. The difficulties that the senior
officials caused for him finally caused him to have an emotional
break down during a social gathering. |

(portrayed by Wu Peng Feng) – A rural police officer.
Because he is not good at expressing his feelings and is always
busy with his job, his relationship with his teenage son is not
on good terms. During an investigation one time, he caused his
son to be involved and got hurt. Although this unexpectedly
brings closeness to their cold relationship, but it also brings
about his indecisiveness in his determination to continue to be
an upright and selfless police officer.

female kindergarten teacher who Lin Jun Wei met while he was
checking the census. Jun Wei is always trying to get on her
good side but when he finds out that she is someone who his boss
Xun Guan is also after, he is met with a dilemma.
