Village master's granddaughter. She has the personality of a typical village girl - naïve and pure, distinguishes clearly between like and dislike. For her goals and ideals, she would dash forward regardless of any consequences. The more obstacles that she comes in contact with, the braver she gets. Yet because she is excessively optimistic, she can be a bit rash on certain things and she also keeps old friendships in mind. From childhood, she is fond of village life. Although her figure is petite, she is full of energy and life and very optimistic. Her understanding of animals is not any less than a veterinarian. She received a herb pottery from her mother, who passed away, and towards the use of the herb, she has a clear understanding of it. Even though she is not good at hand crafts yet she is fond of making clothes for her beloved things. Therefore, she would use the abandoned window curtains to make clothing for her house pet "Wu Long Cha". The plant that is named "Knight" even has its own knight suit. The thing that she hates the most is anyone who harms her beloved Tao Village.

He is the type of lady-killer that females between the ages of 3 through 73 would love. He believes that anything unexpected can happen in life and that planning for the future is a waste of time. He never lacks in "followers" who follow him around. His parents left behind an antique shop called "Jia Jia" for him. However, what he regards as his most important treasure is not women and not his parents' inheritance, but is his head of thick, shiny black hair and his beautiful, dazzling car. He likes to be affectionate with those girls that admire him but he will absolutely not let anyone touch his hair. Even if the girl is extremely pretty, it wouldn't do any good. His hair is his life. He has also never driven anyone around in his treasured car. That is, until he gets acquainted with Ai Qing. He fell in love at first sight with Ai Qing's independent nature. She is a female race car driver in the same team as Hai Nuo, so liking Hai Nuo, of course, becomes a very natural thing. Although her appearance shows her as a bold girl, yet she is a conservative and innocent girl within. Because of Hai Nuo being disgraced by his sworn enemy, Ji Pu Sai, she decides to get revenge for him. At that time, she was unconscious and when she woke up, she sees Hai Nuo next to her and thought that it was Hai Nuo's fault. Even though she hated Hai Nuo for this, but the feelings of love that she has for him is still there. After knowing that she is pregnant yet Hai Nuo still fell in love with Ai Qing, Xiang Zhen was very resentful and causes trouble everywhere to retaliate against Hai Nuo. Even when she was being used as a model for Zi Hao, she was still doing things her own way and making trouble everywhere. All she wanted was Hai Nuo to be shouldered with this shame for the rest of his life. In the end, she finds out the truth and knows that she has wrongly accused Hai Nuo. Ai Qing's grandpa, possesses a small village and a small house in a place called "Tao Village." His whole life is to protect and look after this piece of small property and also the two grandchildren, Ya Qun and Ai Qing, that his deceased son and daughter-in-law left behind after their unexpected death. Moreover, there are several flocks of cows and sheep. An optimistic and kind-hearted, very soft-hearted, elderly person who has high blood pressure and heart disease. He has no demands on life and only hopes to see his granddaughter happy.

Zi Hao's assistant. He is a homosexual with a gentle and delicate manner that is not overly exaggerated. The color of his clothing are fresh and fashionable but not fancy. He gives people a bothersome feeling but isn't really annoying. He works quite effectively, but occasionally, there can be small problems. He is very conscious of the family's image and once he makes up his mind, nothing can change it. He is always very strict towards his only son, Zi Hao. Although he is disappointed that Zi Hao is not willing to succeed the family business and he has harshly yelled at him before, but when he sees Zi Hao using his status as a fashion designer to conquer his own world, on the surface he doesn't say anything, but actually, he is very caring towards Zi Hao. He is a father who looks strict on the outside but has a kind heart in the inside. His biggest enemy is his wife, Yu Hong. Believing that it was Ai Qing who caused Zi Hao and Katrina to break up, he is extremely prejudice towards Ai Qing. Yet in the end, he is still moved by Ai Qing's innocence.

Zi Hao's mom and is properly matched with Lu Zheng Guo. They established Global Group together and acts very from other CEO wives. After giving birth to Zi Hao, she couldn't bear the rich surroundings at home and would often disguise herself as living a poor and destitute life, giving rise to unexpected behaviors. She has a lively personality and does not like the social banquets and interactions in the high class society. Frequently, she couldn’t bear her husband's high class personality and would often does things opposite to him. She is the only one in the family that approves of Zi Hao walking down his own path in life and of course, she would support Ai Qing and Zi Hao being together.

A race car driver. A person who has a narrow heart and mind and also has a strong sense for revenge. He was originally the number one racer in the racing world, but because of Hai Nuo's appearance, he falls to second place. When he sees Hai Nuo easily exceeding him at each competition, his jealously starts to rise. The distance between him and Hai Nuo is growing further apart as they continue along in life and he becomes Hai Nuo's sworn enemy. As a result of Hai Nuo snatching away the international championship cup from him half a year ago, he has never forgotten about it. To harm Hai Nuo is not enough, he sets up a plan to sleep with Xiang Zhen, who is dating with Hai Nuo at the time and then shifts the blame to Hai Nuo.

Hai Nuo's loyal follower. Because he had a habit of saying "Bu Bu Bu" (meaning, No, No, No, in English) as his prologue, therefore, that's why he has this name. On the surface, he seems very clumsy but he is actually very smart. He treats Hai Nuo as his big brother for life.

Ai Qing's elder brother. His inherent nature is not bad, it's just that he is lazy and idles about doing nothing. He studied high school for 5 years and graduated together with Ai Qing. Is totally opposite of Ai Qing's petite stature. He is very tall and sturdy, but doesn't have any spirit at all. He always says that he will go out into the world and do something but he would often bring trouble to the family. For money, he would do anything at all. For this reason, he would often come home and steal things to sell outside. He even secretly sold away the village causing Grandpa to be extremely distraught. The forth member that follows Hai Nuo. Is the tallest and most ferocious member in the group. He has an impulsive personality and likes fighting. He beats everyone with the exception of being defeated by Hai Nuo.

(portrayed by Wang De Sheng) - 48 years old.

An old employee of Jia Jia Antique Shop. He has a very chatty personality. When he was young, with no where to go and on the verge of death with illness, he was saved by Hai Nuo's father. Since then he has become the Cheng family's most loyal employee. He treats the Cheng family as his own family. After the death of Hai Nuo's parents, he still takes up the responsibility of running the antique shop and raising Hai Nuo into an adult. He is someone who understands gratefulness and pays it back. Often when he remembers the past, he would get so sad that he would cry. He takes the responsibility of assisting Hai Nuo seriously. Seeing Hai Nuo lacking interest in the business his father left behind, turning all his attention to racing and having no plans for his future, Ah Zhong is, of course, disappointed. But he still does his best to convince Hai Nuo. Ah Zhong still holds onto the hope that one day, Hai Nuo would come to his senses. His biggest wish is to see Hai Nuo and the one that he loves get married, have children, and live happily together forever.

Ai Qing's best friend since elementary school. She is a journalist of a small newspaper. Brave and goes all out in things, does not admit defeat.

(portrayed by Yi Ling) - 40 years old.

Runs the household in the Lu family. Handles things strictly but knows when to push things and when not to. In regards to maintaining the Lu family's home, she is always very conscientious of every little detail. From the way she does things, it can be seen that she has been educated very well in how to maintain a household. Although she doesn't approve of the character her madam, Yu Hong, acts out and is frequently obstructed by where her responsibility lies, she must endure and not create any scenes with Yu Hong.
