In his heart, he is always awaiting for the day when his mother, who has left for 8 years, would come back. Towards life, he has always been full of hopes. The appearance of Pin Hui made himself think that love has arrived. However, he has looked after his Pan Pan all along. On the verge of leaving, that's when he realizes who his true love is.

Innocent and lively personality, likes to personally create strange things with her own hands. Because she likes to read romance novels, she is full of illusions toward love. Likes Xia Ri, but she silently keeps it in her heart. Pin Hui's appearance, makes her think that she will never be able to get Xia Ri to fall in love with her. Jia Jun’s pursuit of her makes her question love, "Should she be with the one that she loves? Or be with the one that gives her happiness?" In the end, Pan Pan decides to leave the small island, yet it brings along with it even more troubles.

Sophisticated personality, is a girl that wants to use work as a means to escape from the painful wounds of love, arriving at the small island, she did a series of special columns on travels. Developed with Xia Ri, ambiguous emotions that seems to be there and seems to not be.

small person but great spirit, has an extremely abundant feeling for righteousness. He's young but because he is always together with the young people on the island that is 10 years older than him, his thinkings matured early. Likes Pan Pan very much. When he was 3 years old, his mother left him but his grandfather and elder brother protected and looked after him, causing him to not be lacking in the slightest bit of family warmth.

standard female shooter, bright and vibrant personality, grew up together with Pan Pan and is a good friend of hers, often gives Pan Pan her opinions when Pan Pan can't seem to make up her mind on decisions. Because of a certain time, she made Ah De fall in love with her. But Ah De only dares to have a crush on her secretly. Who knew that by helping Ah De to pursue Xiao Sha, Ah Tou made Xiao Sha misunderstand. Later, Ah Tou also discovers that he has fallen in love with Xiao Sha. When Ah De finds out, he silently withdraws. How should Xiao Sha go about choosing these two guys that she really likes very much?

A messenger that goes back and forth between the islands, knows all the local people very well. Each episode he will bring with him a letter or object. He's also a soul character that is weaved into the show.

The tallest and the most well built within the five of them. His appearance gives off a feeling of braveness and ferociousness to people, but actually he has a very small heart and doesn't have much courage. Has an extreme fear of the huge ocean. Used to be an electronic technology company's new talent. The company transferred him out of the country to further his studies but he loves his leisure life and doesn't like the encampment of the metropolis jungle. Without hesitation, he chooses to go to the small island to work instead.

Are the 5 visitors of the ocean with Xia Ri, Ah De, Xiao Tie, Ah Ken. Flexible mind with a touch of intelligence, fond of peeping at beautiful girls, always causing a commotion wanting to pursue the girls, constantly encouraging Xia Ri to get into a relationship immediately. One of his buddies, Ah De, secretly has a crush on Xiao Sha, so he helps Ah De to pursue her and gets misunderstood by Xiao Sha. Never thought that he would fall in love with Xiao Sha himself. In the process of his brave pursuit, there is amusement and also trueness.

A young person that comes from the city, full of confidence, does things courageously, towards love is this same way too. Burdened with his father's mission to build a kingdom of leisure on the ocean. Never thought that he would establish a deep friendship with the young people on the island, greatly appreciates Ah Ri. Falls in love with Pan Pan's innocence and kind-heart, seriously pursues her, and in the end, is able to touch her heart. Pan Pan decides to return to the city with him, but because of Xia Ri's confession of love, it causes Jia Jun's personality to change. In his anger, he is determined to change the small island no matter what. His step mother extremely opposes it, and in the end, he finds out that his step mother is actually Xia Ri's real mother.

Witty and humorous personality, doesn't seem like an elderly at all. When he was young, he was once a fisherman on a ship in a distant ocean. Traveled all around, has vast and wide knowledge and experiences, which built his carefree and optimistic personality. Is Xia Ri and Xia En's grandpa, even more, he seems like their good friend. After getting married and having Ming Hai at the age of 17, he still travels far. His wife was not able to tolerate it and left him. On one shoulder, he carried the responsibility of raising his son and at the age of 30, he ended his career of running a boat and concentrated on operating his public lodge on the small island. He is persistent on upholding a natural way of life. His son followed his footsteps and became a member of a ship but unfortunately, he was lost at sea. Grandpa Xia's daughter-in-law is forced to go to work in the city and worked hard to earn money to take care of Xia Ri and Xia En. But when Xia Ri was 13 years old, she lost all contact with them.

Pin Hui's boyfriend.  Their relationship did not get the blessing of others. With no way of giving Pin Hui any sort of promises, Pin Hui uses the excuse of work to leave the city. Later, Greg came to the small isle in hopes of being able to get back together with Pin Hui. Seeing the interaction between Pin Hui and Ah Ri, he sets his determination to get back Pin Hui.

Grandpa's former sailor friend. His appearance would cause Grandpa to make different decisions toward life.

Xia Ri and Xia En’s birth mother and is also Jia Jun’s step mother.  In the past, she suddenly lost her husband and bravely shouldered the responsibility of taking care of the whole family.  She left the small island and went to the city to work.  As a result, depression took over her.  She met up with Jia Jun’s father who carefully protected and took care of her.  Therefore, she gets married with Jia Jun’s father.  For the reason of stopping Jia Jun from buying the small island, she returns to the isle once again, bringing about a succession of events.

Strange girl. She comes to the small isle to look for her grandpa. No one knows the reason for her arrival. Straight-forward and bright personality, would say things that would astonish people; in the end, only Xia Ri would know her secret and that is to come and find her birth father that she has never seen.

A famous author. Frequently writes stories describing the ocean and sunshine; Comes to the small isle to find Zeng Jing Fen, who he accidentally met during a trip in his college years. The story that Xia Ri’s mother told all those years ago is the reason for Ye Fu’s rise to fame. She comes to the small isle with a heart filled with gratitude, yet she causes a misunderstanding between Xia Ri and Pan Pan.

A native Japanese girl. She comes to search for her first love, Peter. Her brave display of love makes Xia Ri’s uncertainty toward love even more clear.

Hui Li Zi’s former love. However, because of the separation of time, he already has another love and is in the verge of marriage. With regards to Hui Li Zi’s love, he faces it with honesty.

A famous music writer. He came to the small isle when he didn’t have any inspirations. Meets up with Xia Ri. After listening to Xia Ri’s humming and singing, it attracted Shi Jie to dig up Xia Ri’s musical talent.
