If fairy tales are real, then there is no doubt that Yu Xin Lei would be the most perfect princess in it. Following her parents overseas for business, she who has grown up in Shanghai, grows up gracefully in a prosperous environment and is regarded and cared for by her parents as a “princess.” She not only knows eight different languages at a young age, but she also plays the piano well. Whenever she hears praises from people or even when someone admires her, she would always have an indifferent smile on her face… She doesn’t think that all this is strange. This happiness before her, being the princess that she is, is only natural. As for Qin Lang’s days in Shanghai, under the boss Cui Ge’s care and his buddy-like interaction with the other workers, Che Ren and Xiao Pang, day after each day passes by.

At first Qin Lang believes that as long as he has earned enough money, then he would be able to say goodbye to everything in Shanghai, including Happy 131 and everything else… however, he never imagined that this trip to Shanghai would create unexpected changes to his life…

* She and he meet at the corner.

A traffic accident causes Qin Lang and Yu Xin Lei to meet. Two parallel lines that are originally impossible to meet actually do meet at the corner and even gets tightly tangled up together! Xin Lei who doesn’t look highly upon Qin Lang, in order to deal with her fiancé, Yin Shang Dong’s parents, who are picky eaters, she recruits Qin Lang as her teacher to teach her how to make oyster omelettes. Qin Lang couldn’t bend Xin Lei’s request and so decided to help her complete this task. He never imagined that Xin Lei would thank him by way of giving him a plane ticket which in turn stabs at Qin Lang’s self-pride! Qin Lang insists on not accepting the ticket because he is helping a friend and not looking for any sort of monetary gifts in return. Yet how can it be that Xin Lei would admit defeat? As a result, through constant fighting, they both gradually start to discover each other’s good qualities. Two people from two different worlds slowly gather together.

Qin Lang gives his blessings to Xin Lei who is on the verge of getting engaged to Yin Shang Dong. Xin Lei is filled with anticipation for the happy and joyful days that the prince and princess will be living in henceforth. But Xin Lei’s father, Yu Guang Ping, suddenly becomes bankrupt and Xin Lei’s beautiful dream completely shatters! In one night’s time, the Yu family announces their bankruptcy. Yin Shang Dong’s parents could not forgive Xin Lei’s parents for all that they have done and strongly demands that Yin Shang Dong and Xin Lei break off their engagement! Although Yin Shang Dong deeply loves Xin Lei, but he wasn’t able to withstand the pressure that is coming from his parents and bravely pursue the one that he loves. The heartbroken Xin Lei could only strongly face this all by herself. And all of this is witnessed by Qin Lang.

Yin Shang Dong tries to win back Xin Lei’s heart, but Shang Dong’s parents created many obstacles and in the end, their relationship is finally over. Xin Lei’s pride made her swear that she will never appear in front of any of the Yin family members again. As a result, she takes the money and plane ticket that her parents left her and goes to Taipei.

Qin Lang did not know that Xin Lei is planning on going to Taiwan. After he has saved enough money, said his goodbyes to Cui Ge, Che Ren and Xiao Pang at Happy 131, he flew back to Taiwan and returns to his grandma’s side…

As a result, the high and mighty princess is forced to go out and look for a job… She uses her own talent and finds a job as a flight attendant and in this job, she meets her only friend in Taiwan – Wen Bi Zhu. However, having failed at her job time and time again, this was really a harsh test on Yu Xin Lei who has never experienced any hardships in her life before. Although Qin Lang frequently fights with her, but he has always been by her side and helping her.

To Xin Lei, Qin Lang, who lives under the same roof as her, is a very reliable “friend.” However, to Qin Lang, Xin Lei’s significance in his heart, gradually becomes more than “a friend.” Qin Lang is very clear in his heart what this significance means, yet he has never expressed his “love” out loud to Yu Xin Lei.
