            At the 2008 Olympic Games, even though Tae Kwon Do athletes, Su Li Wen and Sung Yu Qi did not win a gold medal, but their spirit for the game has touched all the audience from across the globe.  At this time when the whole world is in a financial crisis and there are talks of global warming, everyone is calling to save energy, reduce carbon emissions, and change our values of living a luxurious and wasteful life.  Scholars say that “TV media” have the biggest influence and effect on audiences.  As a result, they should stop broadcasting those programs that are not consistent with the reality of life like telling people how to spend money to buy name brand things or how to marry into a rich family.

            During the hot summer of 2009, five hot-blooded guys with different personalities, a girl filled with dreams who looks strong on the outside but is fragile within, plus a hot and sexy female coach who is good at using her female charms, will gather together.  How will they work together to get through this rugged road that leads them to their dreams and capture the gold medal that would belong to them?

            “Gold Medal Zong Dong Yuan” is a very traditional and historic intercollegiate competition between S University and T University.  Under negative outlooks from everyone, S University’s Tae Kwon Do Society accomplished an impossible mission by winning the gold medal and bringing honor and glory to the school.  They also helped the Tae Kwon Do world to create 5 future stars, Star5.  This is a story about how Star5 (S5) strives through their hard work to go from being nothing to being heroes…
