Xia Zhi Xing is a 24 year old ex-convict who is just released from prison on parole. A girl, who was put away in prison because of love, has finally waited until this day when she would be able to see her boyfriend, Shi San again. She specially goes to a 6 star hotel to buy a present for him.

Today is the wedding of E.Shine Enterprise’s 2nd son, Zhong Tian Qi’s ex-girlfriend, Ou Ya Ruo and his elder brother, Zhong Tian Jun. At the same time it is also day where his mother’s heirloom, a blue diamond, called the Queen Mary is to be auctioned off. Having deliberately tried to avoid the wedding, Zhong Tian Qi is escorted under guard from the airport. Arriving at the banquet hall, he slips backstage and pulls Ya Ruo into his arms. Tian Qi kisses her and at the same time, he steals the Queen Mary. On one hand, this is to avenge Ya Ruo’s betrayal and on the other hand, he didn’t want his mother’s belonging to be auctioned off.

The Queen Mary is lost and the wedding ceremony is stopped. Ya Ruo points out the thief and the security mistakes that for Xia Zhi Xing. They put handcuffs on Ah Xing and Tian Qi, not wanting an innocent girl to take the blame, runs back to her and pulls her away. In her haste, Ah Xing puts the other side of the handcuff on Tian Qi. A destined meeting causes Xia Zhi Xing, who goes to jail for her boyfriend and just being released on parole and Zhong Tian Qi, who is the 2nd son of E.Shine Enterprise that manages jewelry, to flee from the scene handcuffed together. This shackle creates an unbreakable destiny for them.

While they are running away, Ah Xing is worried that Tian Qi would harm her. In addition, she is just released from prison, so she is afraid that she will be linked to this missing jewelry crime. She loudly yells at Tian Qi: “Let me go immediately…” She even threatens Tian Qi that she will call her boyfriend, Shi San in hopes that she will be able to frighten Tian Qi. It never occurs to her that her boyfriend would hurriedly hang up the phone on her. In front of her boyfriend’s house, Ah Xing goes to look for Shi San and couldn’t find him. Pulling Tian Qi along, she goes to find the landlord with the address of her boyfriend’s place. It turns out that Shi San has concealed the truth about his and Ah Xing’s past and is now married to Ming Mei.

As Ah Xing is interrogating Shi San, Shi San’s wife, Ming Mei goes into labor. The kind-hearted Ah Xing is sad and furious at the same time. She knows that there is nothing else she can say now because this man doesn’t have her in his heart anymore. Yet she will not admit defeat and declares that Tian Qi is her boyfriend. They will be getting married soon and asks that Shi San give them his blessing. Losing their lovers on the same day, Ah Xing and Tian Qi both go drinking and gets drunk.

Using a hairclip, Ah Xing unlocks the handcuffs. This is a skill that she has learned while she was in prison. Ah Xing is dead drunk and Tian Qi has no choice but to half drag and half pull her into a motel to rest. The staff at the motel thinks that it is strange and suspecting Tian Qi for a rapist, he calls the police. Tian Qi’s family goes to the police station to bail him out. Originally, this would be the end of Tian Qi and Ah Xing’s meeting but Tian Qi is enlightened by the words that Ah Xing said to him. He decides to leave with Ah Xing to “Tomorrow Village” to search for the many possibilities of life.

Because of Tian Qi’s impulsive behavior, the Zhong family’s business is thrown into a crisis… The management team demands that Tian Jun must find the missing blue diamond before the deadline… While the Zhong family is busy dealing with the matters of the wedding ceremony, the appearance of one photo shocks Zhong Tian Jun. It is a photo that the paparazzi took at the wedding ceremony showing Ya Ruo and Tian Qi kissing in the lounge. The paparazzi blackmail him with the photo. Tian Jun is shaken by this revelation since he did not know about his younger brother and Ya Ruo’s relationship. Tian Jun starts to doubt who Ya Ruo really loves.

Just when his doubts about his fiancé, Ya Ruo, create much inner turmoil for Tian Jun, Tian Qi and Ah Xing are sitting on a bus on their way to Tomorrow Village. The seed of love gradually starts to sprout for these two strangers who coincidentally got together. The many possibilities of life appear to be starting soon. From then on, Tian Qi seals up all his emotions. His temperament suddenly changes and he throws himself into his father’s business. Holding onto the mood of making amends, he works diligently and turns into a cold-blooded and ruthless businessman. Although he gets reunited with Ah Xing later on, because of his hatred, he couldn’t see through to Ah Xing’s sincerity… He is convinced that Xia Zhi Xing is a con artist that can’t be trusted – a con artist that deceived him on his feelings.

Yet what he needs to understand is that sometimes, love is not just some word that you speak of; true love, even if it is under all kinds of rumor, is when you can still feel the sincerity of the one that you love. Behind all kinds of lies, there is always a reason. Is it to fight for one’s own victory or is it for the happiness of the love that you love? Only love can see through to the sincerity which the lies are covering up.
