Synopsis:

Extended Synopsis:

       The extremely handsome Jin Yong Jun once again successfully dumped his new girlfriend of one week and is just feeling very relaxed.  To him, women are just one of the many hobbies used to pass times in one’s life.  Even though each one of the girls who give themselves to him has their own special characteristics, but he is starting to feel weary towards this kind of lifestyle.

      Yong Jun walks pass a public square in the city center.  Due to a cosplay parade with hundreds of participants being carried out at the public square, the scene was very lively all around.  Yong Jun involuntary gets pushed into the crowd of people.  In the midst of all the confusion, a girl actually falls in front of his feet.  When this girl raises her head, no way, it is actually Saber from the video game “Dead Or Alive,” whom Yong Jun adores and dreams about night and day (of course, this is Yong Jun’s secret, don’t tell anyone.)

      Yong Jun gives Saber a hand in helping her up.  After an awkward smile from Saber, she frantically runs off and only leaves behind a shoe…

      Tie Xiong hurriedly runs back to the society’s office and couldn’t wait to take off this damn female attire that he has on.  The reason why he is doing this is all because of Ke Er – the girl whom he has had a crush on for many years.  As long as he is able to see her happy smile, then all this trouble is worth it.

      However, the most horrifying trouble won’t come until after he returns home.  Being the only son in the family, his father expects him to be a man with a bold vision.  Yet in his haste, Tie Xiong actually forgets to take off his makeup and his father happens to see him like this…

      A whole series of painful lectures and torments that the body has to suffer from training is unavoidable.  Yet, dragging his tired body to school, Tie Xiong meets up with an even more brutal nightmare – Ke Er confesses to him that she has fallen in love with Jin Yong Jun, the worst guy on campus but still adored by all the girls!

      Staring across the playground at Yong Jun, who is playing ball and wiping the sweat off his face, Tie Xiong sighs loudly.  So it turns out that the type of guys that Ke Er likes is the manly muscled type.  Learning the handcrafts and joining the anime society has been totally wrong at trying to get to her heart.  He starts to think that maybe his father is right.  Seeing how his son is finally coming to an understanding, Father Tie sheds tears of gratitude.  After a whole series of intense training, Tie Xiong thinks that this might perhaps change Ke Er’s impression of him but under an unexpected coincidence, Ke Er believes Tie Xiong is a homosexual (even though there has always been this rumor within the school).  What he gets out of this is Ke Er’s sisterly friendship…

      All these misfortunes caused Tie Xiong to be really tired and he tries to escape by immersing himself into the world of mangas.  In a manga entitled “I am a True Man,” Tie Xiong sees a new light.  Coincidentally the author of the manga appears at the bookstore and brushes pass Tie Xiong.  An appearance filled with a manly air, Tie Xiong knows that he has found his life savior…

      Tie Xiong starts to find out the whereabouts of the manga artist Lin Fu Nan but the publishing house would not give him any information about this author’s background.  Tie Xiong does not hesitate to use the school’s anime society to invite Lin Fu Nan to give a lecture at their school.  He still met with refusal and Lin Fu Nan’s identity becomes an even bigger mystery to him.

      On the other hand, Ke Er pours out her heart to Tie Xiong and Tie Xiong could only smile and hold back his tears.  He gets encouragement from the manga and just when he has gathered up his courage to confess his feelings to Ke Er, she interrupts him and asks him to help her confess to Yong Jun.  Tie Xiong thinks of every way to try to keep this from happening.  He finds a few female students that have been dumped by Yong Jun before to talk about their past experience so that Ke Er would wake up from her dream, but unexpectedly, it turns out to be a gathering for the excited girls to talk about their idol.  Ke Er gathers up her courage and takes a gift to Yong Jun, but Yong Jun looks down on her which breaks Ke Er’s heart.

Tie Xiong is angry and wants to have a talk with Yong Jun.  Yet when he gets in front of Yong Jun, he looses his steam and begs Yong Jun to go out with Ke Er.  Yong Jun thinks that Tie Xiong is a lot of fun and treats this agreement as a fun game.  He would agree only if Tie Xiong accepts his condition and help him do one thing.  Tie Xiong accepts Yong Jun’s condition.  Yong Jun keeps his promise and asks Ke Er out on a date.  Ke Er is wild with joy as she shares this happy news with Tie Xiong.  Tie Xiong silently prays that Ke Er would be able to see Yong Jun’s true colors through this process.

However, the opposite of what Tie Xiong expected happens.  Aside from feeling disheartened, he coincidentally meets Fu Nan again.  This time Tie Xiong clings on for dear life onto Fu Nan and he requests Fu Nan to accept him as a disciple.  Fu Nan is not paying him any attention at all and treats him only as an invisible person.  Tie Xiong refuses to give up and did everything that he can but Fu Nan still wouldn’t bat an eyelash at him.  Yet at this time, someone appears to help him – Fu Nan’s roommate, Ya Ying returns.  The beautiful and flirtatious Ya Ying sees the pretty Tie Xiong and is startled by his beauty.  She secretly helps Tie Xiong and finally gets Fu Nan to accept Tie Xiong as a disciple and temporarily live at Fu Nan’s home…

Tie Xiong tells his family that he is going to a special karate training class that will last for 5 days.  Father Tie cries happy tears as he gathers up all the ointment, clothes and other things that Tie Xiong would need (however, Tie Xiong’s sisters are filled with suspicion.)

Tie Xiong originally thought that these couple days of training would allow Teacher Fu Nan to teach him how to become a true man but three days have passed and Fu Nan still acts indifferently.  Instead, it is Fu Nan’s friend, Ya Ying that keeps on pestering him – first she wants him to try on the new spring, summer clothing line and then she wants him to strip so that she can take his measurements.  Tie Xiong trembles with fear.  He is afraid that he will offend Ya Ying and yet he doesn’t want his Teacher to think that there is something going on between him and her friend.

Tie Xiong did not learn anything from his training and yet he is utterly exhausted.  Returning to school, he hears that Ke Er has been asked to the restroom by a couple of female students from another school to “have a talk.”  Tie Xiong feels that something is not right and rushes to look for Ke Er.  As for Ke Er, she is being bullied by this group of mean female students, who calls themselves Yong Jun’s fans.

Tie Xiong arrives just in time to try to save Ke Er.  But how can the tired Tie Xiong match up to these strong females?  Instead, he gets bullied by them in return.

Tie Xiong didn’t give a thought about himself but is furious that Ke Er is being humiliated and he runs off to settle this with Yong Jun.  Yong Jun doesn’t want to fight with Tie Xiong but he tells Tie Xiong the truth – it is only a game between him and Ke Er.  Besides, this game is no fun at all and so he wants to end it quickly.  There is nothing that Tie Xiong could do but this conversation was overheard by Ke Er.

Tie Xiong comforts Ke Er and encourages her to forget about Yong Jun and pull herself together.  Yet Ke Er decides to love with no regrets and continue to like Yong Jun.  Tie Xiong is speechless.

Tie Xiong returns to Teacher Fu Nan’s home and under Ya Ying’s intimidation, Tie Xiong believes that he is about to lose his chastity and quickly uses Fu Nan as a shield.  This is when Ya Ying finds out that Tie Xiong has believed Fu Nan to be a male all along…

Tie Xiong finds out that the person he worshiped as his life savior for so long turns out to be a woman.  He gets a tremendous shock and doesn’t want to believe it.  What makes the matter worst, his sworn enemy, Yong Jun actually shows up in Fu Nan’s home and calls Fu Nan “little aunt.”  Tie Xiong has no other choice but to believe that this manly man is actually a woman.  His world immediately collapses…

Fu Nan comes to campus in search of inspiration because the sales volume of her manga and her popularity has been on the decline for the past couple of years.  As a result, her Chief Editor thinks up of a plan.  He wants Fu Nan to use Tie Xiong as a target and portray his love story.  Using actual people and actual events as the storyline to stimulate the manga sales in the market.  Otherwise, Fu Nan would have to face the termination of her contract and the crisis of paying for the damage to the business.

For Yong Jun and Ke Er’s second date, Tie Xiong tells a lie.  He deliberately dresses up as Saber again and uses this to make all sorts of requests from Yong Jun.  Yong Jun, who originally had the upper hand, in order to get more information on Saber, could only temporarily follow everything that Tie Xiong says.  However, because of an accident, Yong Jun and Tie Xiong unexpectedly kissed.  The whole school is in an uproar and Yong Jun and Tie Xiong is rumored to be homosexuals.  Ke Er never thought that she would hear that Tie Xiong is Yong Jun’s real lover.  Henceforth, she regards Tie Xiong as her love rival and develops misunderstanding towards him.  Tie Xiong has no way of explaining all this.

Fu Nan’s neutral attitude and personality brings about her warm welcome by the Anime Society.  Many young male students volunteer to be her assistant.  They worship her like she is their idol and often stays behind at the Anime Society…

One day, Father Tie arrives at the school to see if Tie Xiong has become manlier.  He discovers that not only has his son not become the man that he is supposed to be, he also didn’t join any martial arts group and furthermore, he is gay.  Not only that but he also has a shady relationship with Lin Fu Nan.  Under his investigation, he finds out that the Anime Society is where all these illicit things are happening…  He mistakenly believes that Fu Nan is regarding the young male students as her own play toys.  He decides that he will expose her true colors of pretending to be a teacher while she seduces the young male students!

After half a day of searching around, it turns out that everything was all a big misunderstanding.  During this process, Tie Xiong comes out to help Fu Nan clarify this whole series of events and causes Father Tie to see this “manly” side of Tie Xiong.  He surrenders to Fu Nan and decides to give Tie Xiong over to Fu Nan!

A storm brews over the news that Yong Jun has slept with a mafia boss’s woman.  Ke Er finds out that Yong Jun is in danger and decides to go and settle the negotiation on his behalf.

After Tie Xiong finds out about this, without even figuring out what the situation is, he believes that it is a simple dressed up meeting.  He gathers all of the students from the Anime Society and they all dress up and go to challenge the mafia boss together.  It never occurs to them that once they arrive at the scene, that the situation would be worst then they had imagined.  It is not a simple dress up meeting after all but a real mafia fight scene!

Just when Tie Xiong is being bullied by the mafia boss when he is trying to save Ke Er, Ke Er subdues the mafia boss’s anger by showing her brave spirit in trying to help Yong Jun.  However, how can he let them go so easy when Yong Jun slept with his woman?  The mafia boss suggests an inhuman request and in order to save Ke Er, Tie Xiong complies with the mafia boss…  (This shows Tie Xiong’s love for Ke Er.)

At this time, Lin Fu Nan appears.  What is she holding in her hands that would cause the blood to drain from the mafia boss’s face…?  It turns out that it is the manuscript for the mafia boss’s manga.  After all this, it seems that the ferocious mafia boss used to be a manga artist who drew mangas geared toward young teenage girls when he was young.  The mangas that he draws feature young girls with glowing starry eyes and sweet compassionate symbols.  Such an illusionist past, has now become a big embarrassing secret?  How would the mafia boss be able to show his face in public?  In order to get back this manuscript which would bring shame and embarrassment to himself, the mafia boss decides to let go of Tie Xiong.  They are even!

Even though Tie Xiong didn’t succeed in being the knight who saves the damsel in distress, yet he did manage to clear the misunderstanding that Ke Er has towards him.  Like a buddy, she pats him on his shoulder and says that she won’t treat him as a love rival anymore!  You are my good friend!

Tie Xiong hears this and his heart is broken but he is still willing to silently offer his blessings.

Because Tie Xiong dresses himself up as Saber, his identity gets exposed.  When Yong Jun finds out that Saber is actually Tie Xiong dressed up, his illusion is shattered…

The brave performance that Ke Er showed when trying to save Yong Jun causes Yong Jun to really start seeing the existence of this person.  He takes the initiative to ask her out for the first time.  Ke Er is happy but she never imagined that Yong Jun would want her to go to a motel with him!

Tie Xiong finds out that Ke Er and Yong Jun has gone to a motel and his heart is shattered.  He decides to give up on Ke Er and give her his blessings.  In order to completely cut off his feelings for her, he must do one last thing.  He decides to send some condoms to the motel as a last parting gift.

The heartbroken Tie Xiong is drinking at a bar with Fu Nan and Ya Ying.  Ya Ying consoles Tie Xiong.  Sad and yet proud of himself, Tie Xiong said that he has done something that a real man should have done.  He has given the woman that he loved happiness!

After downing several bottles of liquors and being happily drunk, Ya Ying discloses her own things and indirectly reveals Fu Nan’s history of love.  Tie Xiong listens to bits and pieces, on and off…

Under the Chief Editor’s threats, Fu Nan reluctantly draws a few rough sketches.  But when she thinks about what she does would no doubt destroy Tie Xiong’s trust in her, she couldn’t bring herself to make a joke of Tie Xiong’s story and put it in to a manga to make money.  As a result, she decides that even if she has to break the contract and pay for the damages, she would not hand the manuscript to the Chief Editor.

However, the Chief Editor slyly steals away the manuscript.  He then finds someone else to finish up the draft and publishes the story.

Tie Xiong mistakenly believes the Chief Editor’s lies and in order to help Fu Nan’s new book, he once again dresses up as a female and helps to publicize Fu Nan’s book:  How to Become a Woman…  He never imagined that when he opens the new book, the character in the book is actually himself.  He believes that Fu Nan has betrayed him!

How will Fu Nan clear this injustice done towards her?  Would Tie Xiong become the real man that he hopes to be?  During all these events, would Ke Er find her true love?  What is the reason behind Yong Jun’s heartless playboy ways?  How will all these confusing relationships play out so that everyone can return to their original selves?  Please wait and see…
