----Story starts from a practical jokes game program.
Lei Hao Yang is the most ordinary university student,
always fooling around, skipping classes left and right, has a straight and
simple-minded personality, has a bit of a sex appeal and also a bit of a
humorous side to him. He is the student of Sen Lin Xi University and has
been left behind in a grade before. At the present time, he is a 4th year
university student and his studies are in perilous danger.
Taking advantage of his vacation, he goes to work at
the television station as a program assistant. The program that he is
responsible for is a game program that specializes in playing practical
jokes on people. For this reason, Lei Hao Yang is often the person that is
dispatched to make these jokes on the passersby on the road.
With regards to playing jokes on people, he doesn't
have much of an opinion on it. Anyway, this is merely a part of his job.
If everyone is amused and happy, then there's no harm in it. When the
program is broadcasted, as long as the audience is happy, then that's
good.
The many ways of playing jokes on people are weird and
odd. At one time, he hid along the street side of a garbage can and when
the passersby threw garbage into the pail, he would run out and say "Thank
you for feeding me!"; Once, he was leading along a wolf dog and pretending
that he has a need to use the bathroom, he would ask a beautiful girl on
the street to help him take care of the dog; Also, he once put on a ballet
dress and pretended to a be performing artist on the streets.
Those people that were fooled on the streets would
usually have on a baffled expression or they would call him a crazy idiot.
Once they know that it was a practical jokes program from the television
station, the passersby would mainly start laughing and would agree to
having it being broadcasted. And Hao Yang would never feel that there is
anything inappropriate with it.
However, there was a time when he fiercely played a
joke on a girl and in turn, she changes Hao Yang's whole life entirely.
This girl is called Zi Xing.
Lyra -
----Lyra Constellation, the sad musical sounds of a Summer night.
Zi Xing grows up in an enriched and prosperous family.
An only daughter, warm and graceful, is extremely talented with music.
She loves Yao Tian from the bottom of her heart. Even
though Zi Xing clearly knows in her heart that Yao Tian is also deeply in
love with her, but Yao Tian has never spoken it out loud.
Perhaps it is because of the matter of his life
experience since he was small. Yao Tian never saw his mother and he
doesn't know where his father is. Since he was young, he lived with and
was taken care of by his aunt. Even though he lives harmoniously with his
aunt's whole family, his aunt's daughter, Xiao Xue, sticks to him like all
other sisters do, but his natural born sullenness would still deeply
envelop around Yao Tian. He's not good at expressing his feelings. Facing
Zi Xing, he is filled with love for her but it is just hard for him to say
it out loud.
Yao Tian is three years older than Zi Xing and the two
of them have excellent understanding with regards to music. They are the
couple that the outside world favors and are fond of.
Yao Tian loves mountain climbing. He would always
gently hold onto Zi Xing's hand and step by step walk toward the mountain
woods.
Zi Xing has asked Yao Tian before, "Who do you like the
mountains so much? Like the forest?"
Standing at the highest peak of the mountain, gazing up
at the numerous stars up in the sky, after a long while, one word by one
word, he softly would say, "I like to climb to the mountain’s highest peak
because that is the place that is the closest to the stars."
What Yao Tian didn't say out loud is that "the place
that is the closest to the stars" also means that it is the place that is
the closest to Zi Xing. Because within his heart, Zi Xing is the most
beautiful star within Yao Tian's sky.
Within the forest, Yao Tian would always have lots of
stories pertaining to stars that he would tell Zi Xing. Yao Tian always
wished that there would be a day when he can take Zi Xing to the Himalayas
to see a whole sky full of stars.
Lyra is a constellation that is in the skies during the
Summer and it is also Yao Tian's most loved constellation. The image of
the Lyra is that of a harp and it just happens to be the musical
instrument that Zi Xing is an expert in. There was a time when Yao Tian
told Zi Xing the Greek mythology behind the Lyra constellation.
The master of Greek music, Orpheus, after the death of
his beloved one, he was overcomed with grief. He begged Pluto (the king of
the Underworld) to return his beloved to him but no matter what, Pluto
would not agree to it. The only thing that Orpheus could do was to
continuously play the chords and use music to touch Pluto. Later Pluto
finally agreed. Pluto permitted Orpheus to take his beloved away but
before he returns back to the human world, he must not turn his head back
to look at her.
Filled with appreciation, Orpheus takes his beloved
with him. On his way, he tightly holds onto his beloved's hand. However,
when they have almost reached the human world, Orpheus couldn't help
himself and turned his head back to look at his beloved just once. It was
merely this one glance that caused his beloved's hand to be loosened from
his and started to rapidly fall away from him. Thence, being hidden in
darkness forever, disappearing without a trace or shadow.
Having bitterly and painfully lost his beloved again,
Orpheus takes his harp with him and drifts restlessly around the
mountains. Along the way, he kept on playing an absolutely mournful song.
Seeing this, Zeus (the God of Heaven) couldn't bear Orpheus’s pain and
took Orpheus's harp and placed it up in the night sky. As a result,
turning it into the Lyra constellation.
From then on, in the tranquility of the Summer night,
people would hear sad harp music that would flow down to them from the
skies above.
After hearing this, Zi Xing broke out into a shiver and
said that this kind of story is so sad. This type of grief is truly hard
for people to visualize.
Indeed, within Zi Xing's dictionary, there is no word
as "grief." She is the star of the future, an elegant lady, is the apple
in people's eyes, and the most important thing is that she and Yao Tian
both loves each other. Even though Yao Tian didn't say it out loud, but Zi
Xing understands him. Zi Xing feels that she is the luckiest person in
this world…
